My family’s go-to spot for African food. We get peanut butter soup with chicken, beef stew with jallof, oxtail with jallof and turkey tail. We usually call ahead otherwise it can take some time. The food is spicy but true African usually is. As a suggestion if your not used to spicy use boiled eggs with food, plantains, and white rice to help the heat.

I had the Aburi wings and okra at my visit to Aburi Gardens. Overall I would say that it was okay. I wish that there had been less palm oil in the okra sauce, and perhaps it is just my preference… But I prefer less tomatoes in my okra.

I ordered rice and curry chicken. The portion of the food was ok but the taste was terrible. The curry chicken had a very chalky taste

Food was great & service was great. The gentleman who took our order was so sweet and friendly. The food came out pretty quickly and was all plated beautifully. We ordered okra (w/ beef) & fufu, oxtails over white rice and waakye (w/ fish). Everything was delicious! We will definitely return here. Thank you!

I asked for jerk chicken and got something EXTREMELY spicey that was OBVIOUSLY NOT CHICKEN. I brought it to the attention of 1 of them and was told that it WAS chicken. You would think a 52yr old man would know chicken!

So dissatisfied with my order. I was served dry, tasteless cassava leaves. I was asked what type of meat I wanted, I asked for fish. They took the fish from a completely different pot of stew (a red tomato based stew) and mixed it in with my cassava. What if I was allergic to tomatoes!? After being called angry by Emmanuel for voicing my dissatisfaction, I was offered a refund. These restaurants need to stop putting top dollar on slop and expecting customers to eat it. First and last visit!

Food was amazing. Just like My mom would make. Prepare for some heat in case you aren’t comfortable with spicy foods. Palmnut soup with Goat meat, Light soup with chicken, Fufu, , Aburi Wings all were excellent. I would have loved to dine instead of doing it as takeout.
