You NEED to go here. I stopped by for the first time and had the Uzbek Palaw and a pot of green tea. The staff were very helpful in confirming ingredients of the dish to accommodate my allergies. The food is simply incredible. I actually cannot believe it can be this good. The combination of sweet raisins and savory beef and rice is phenomenal, and you get quite a lot of food. It would be good for family style. The atmosphere is a nice mix of casual, comfortable, and clean. All in all, the quality and quantity of food for the price cannot be beat. Highly recommend.

Amazing place to get food. They give really large portions for their price point. Food came out fresh and delicious. Only downside is that you have to pay for drinks – water is $1.50. Recommend getting the tea pot as they do refills on it and the mint tea is quite warming and delicious.

I happened to be in the area with my daughter waiting on a flat tire repair and was hungry and figured we would give it a try as there were not many options in walking distance. The food was so flavorful, even the small side salad. The meal was paired with the perfect sauces and reasonably priced. We had the lunch special for like $8. We dined in, and the service was fast and friendly and cooked to order. There is a free parking lot. It was cozy, small, and likely family owned. I can’t wait to get something else on their menu.

Found the impetuous to come after seeing a post on IG’s Bored_in_Chicago. The service and welcome was very delightful and helpful! Chef/CoOwner happened to be present and walked me through options patiently and with such warmth. I had the Afgan Mantu (dumplings) which were tasty and fresh with regional flavors and also the Chicken Kabob Lunch special. The pita served was fresh and tasty and the rice was cooked well.
