If you’re looking for high quality service, this is not the place to go. I myself work as a server in my hometown and the attention to detail/ quality from our waiter was ridiculous. We must’ve done more talking than he did whenever he came around to the table. Not everything was bad though. My party was thoroughly surprised with the food. I had the Chicken Parmesan and it was delicious! If I had a second stomach I would’ve finished the rest right there at the restaurant. The last detail that really made our experience worse was the ten minute plus wait we had when receiving the check. I’m not sure if there is a certain amount of time that the server is supposed to give the customers to enjoy their meal, but from what I’ve learned, a good server always keeps their eyes on their tables.

This quiet little gem is tucked away on a side street and is easy to miss. But once you’re inside, it’s got great ambiance. It’s got a come in and relax type of vibe. The soup of the day was roasted corn and it was superb. Just the right balance between sweet and savory. The chicken parmesan and spaghetti was excellent. I was a bit wary at first as it’s a huge portion and some restaurants try to make up for lack flavor with bigger quantities. That was definitely not the case here. The sauce was different than what I’m used to and the change was welcome. The chocolate custard is homemade and was amazing. Be warned, it’s small but suuuuper rich and decadent. And the service throughout was top notch. Definitely recommend this place when you want a break from all the great Mexican food in the immediate area.

I see that you have replied on every review besides the negative ones that my peers left from a horrible experience at your restaurant. Your service is terrible and ruins the atmosphere entirely. Such a lovely restaurant with fantastic food that gets overlooked by the shabby service offered. I would work on finding new staff, specifically waiters. Our waiter Justin was very rude. He made our whole table feel as if we did not belong; As if we were not a suitable group for dining. To top this experience off he had an attitude while explaining we should have told him prior we were paying separate, then seems even more annoyed when we paid the bill in cash. However the busser saved the day. The nicest, most kindest and attentive person we had help us in that whole restaurant. Even if I lived in Santa Fe I would not be returning for dine in ever. Save some money and go somewhere better.

Could have been a five star – but for two things. First, the food was very good. We had the crispy polenta to start and it was very tasty. Salads were nicely dressed, fresh ingredients. Entrees were filling and again, very well prepared. However, halfway through service our server seemed to forget about us. She just disappeared after our entrees were dropped. We finished, then sat and sat and sat, with dirty dishes and empty glasses in front of us. Dessert was the real disappointment of the evening though. See photos of the pannacotta with fresh fruit. Truly laughable dish. Should never have been sold/served if a slab of apple is the best that can be offered here.

This was our first time here and I am so glad we came across this hidden gem!! Our server was very friendly and welcoming! We had the mozzarella and prosciutto for an appetizer with a hint of olive oil and capers. I had the sangiovese and it was great. They had a very good special.. but we were both drawn to the trout with the seasonal veggies (green beans, mushrooms, butternut squash and sweet potatoes). It was prepared delightfully! The dessert was also delicious! The tiramisu had a great balance of cocoa powder and sweet. The espresso complemented it very well! I hope we return to this delectable intimate setting!

The food I would have given 4.5. I had the spaghetti noodles with shrimp with a garlic sauce, and it was delicious. Small selection of wine by the glass, but they did a good job of covering the usual options. The calamari was great. It was lightly fried with a light, well season crust. Unfortunately, we were too full for desert. They small areas for seating inside and out. Only metered street parking, which as of now is free after 6 pm. Patio is the only place for wheelchair seating but no access to the bathroom.

Our family stopped here on our way to Colorado. Wished we could’ve saved ourselves the trip delay since the service was the slowest and least attentive I’ve had in a LONG time. The food wasn’t bad, just not huge portions (no sides, salads, or bread included), and everything was on the bland side. Parking was very challenging as well!

The food was delicious and the restaurant itself was very cleanly and neat. Our service however was displeasing. Our sever seemed annoyed at our questions and we felt as we were being judged. Our busser was way more friendly and kind and made sure we felt comfortable. During our whole meal our sever never once checked up on us and we waited almost 20 minutes for our bill. When we did receive the bill and informed him we would like to pay separately he replied rudely “I need to know this stuff beforehand and it’s going to take me 10 minutes to sort through the whole bill.” Most restaurants give an option to pay separately so we didn’t think it would be a problem and if it was it’s a severs job to ask those questions beforehand.
