So first time going to Ashers, and we were focused on their tenderloins. We got there shortly after they opened on a Sunday and were greeted and seated promptly by a friendly hostess. Our pleasant waitress was quick to get our drinks and take our order. We started with the Haystack onions, they looked wonderful and had great potential, but they were incredibly salty. They could have cut the salt in half and probably been perfect.

Stopped here for lunch and tried the Asher Bombs for an appetizer and the tenderloin pony shoe for the main. Holy smokes! Delicious!! The white cheddar sauce is amazing. The bombs were delicious!!! I got the spicy bombs but would also be happy to try the regular bombs next time. Tenderloin was huge even though it was just a half tenderloin on the pony shoe, with fries and melted white cheddar on top of all of it. The food was amazing and so was the service, I will definitely be back! I highly recommend the tenderloin, try it! Also lots of burgers on the menu that I’d like to try in the future. Go to Asher’s in Pekin!

Awesome atmosphere, entire staff was very friendly and attentive. Did you see that giant tenderloin????? Awesomeness My wife had an awesome burger. Portions were huge!!!!! A+++++++++ I WILL BE BACK ON A REGULAR BASIS!!!!!!!

Nice bar and restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. Staff was friendly and attentive. I had a burger and my wife had the chicken strips. My burger was very good. Her chicken strips seemed to be a bit over done. The pretzel bites we had as an appetizer were really good. We would give it another try.

We went there for the tenderloin, and it was good. Was it the best? I’m not sure, it has been a long time since I had one so nothing to compare it to. The sandwich is HUGE. Yes, they did day it was as big as a record album, but my only suggestion would be to get the 1/2 size. My sister and I shared 1/2 and still it was too much. The staff was friendly and prompt. A nice lunch and looks like it would be fun at night too!

What a find in Pekin, Illinois, that I wasn’t expecting to find. This place had great food, drinks and atmosphere. Took a while for drinks, but I think it was a fluke. I definitely will go back next time I’m in town. Great place. I had a great evening there with friends and family.

Service was not very good. I went in to play on the slot machines and noticed they had lemon shake ups, so I was going to order one. The bartender didn’t acknowledge us, even after being there 15-20 min or so, so my husband went up to her to inquire about the drink and a menu to see about some food, she looked irritated and said she’d be back in 20 minutes and the waitress could help us.

Rode 1 hr for this little gem in Farmington! The food was amazing. They practiced social distancing. The environment was comfortable. Our waitress was wonderful. Great selection of food and drinks! Restrooms were well supplied and clean. Did I mention….the tenderloin is HUGE and so good!

Great atmosphere. Clean restaurant. Food was very good! My husband says it’s the best tenderloin he has ever had. It was so huge, he will probably be making 4 meals out of it. I had the candied bacon BLT which was awesome. We will be back for sure
