I absolutely love the fish sandwich and the greek salad. Their fresh greek dressing is amazing! The service is also great. I have both dined in and ordered to go within the last month and the food was consistent and great each time. My only complaint is they charge you to remove items/ toppings or even to put them on the side. My friend asked to remove one sauce and add another and it cost close to $4.00. 1.75 to remove one sauce and 1.95 to add the new one. I have never seen that before and will never do it again. The restaurant and restrooms were both clean, also the restrooms did not have a baby changing station. The parking lot is very small and fits about 5-7 cars but I think you can also park at the church next door.

Wow! Some of the best food I’ve ever had of any cuisine. Staff was quick, attentive, and fun. Prices were reasonable as well. Pretty sure that checks off all the boxes and absolutely sure we’ll be back.

Lovely place to enjoy a nice meal. I got the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and a chicken souvlaki sandwich with fries. Both dishes were delicious. The staff was amazing to me, they saw that i was dining solo and made my experience very comfortable. Give this place a try if you are in the Roanoke area. You will not be disappointed.

Moved here from Pittsburgh and was craving some good Greek food. I had worked in a Greek restaurant in Pittsburgh, and can say that although I’m not Greek, I’m a bit of a snob about authentic foods. This place blew me out of the water! The lemon chicken soup was amazing, and the pastisio is the best I’ve ever had. (Sorry to my former bosses.) Everything is perfectly seasoning and an array of flavors danced on my taste buds. Definitely an 11 out of 10. A must have in Roanoke.

This place is a little gem. Our food was delicious, and the staff were VERY pleasant and attentive. Customer service superb. The food was fresh, loved the tzatziki and pita. Chicken and lemon potatoes…yum. Can’t forget the BAKLAVA…served warm accompanied with whipped cream made a delectable dessert that melted in your mouth. Hubby wanted to lick the plate. . The atmosphere was quaint, happy, and we could tell that the locals frequent this restaurant and love the people there. If we lived close we’d be back. When we visit this way again we know where we will go to eat and “enjoy the company. “To the owner and staff, keep doing what you do here.

I am more than pleased with Athens Corner & Grill. I was passing through Roanoke for work when I decided to stop here. I walked in and was instantly greeted with smiles, the atmosphere was amazing. I ordered a Gyro with fries. This place is ran by genuine people.I Informed a man that took my order that I was a bit wore out from work and that I have to get back on the road to head to Kansas City. Knowing I had a long way to drive, he threw in a free cookie for the road. Now I can start my drive with joy in my heart❤️. Highly recommend this place, Food was amazing but that was only a plus

By far some of the best Mediterranean food in the Roanoke Valley! The dressing for the salad… I want to buy bottles! The lemon potatoes, I have no idea how they make them, but omgoodness they are delicious. The gyro platter and Athens gyro were both outstanding. Will definitely be going back. Service and atmosphere were wonderful. I love the more intimate size of the restaurant. Very clean and all staff we spoke with were incredibly friendly and helpful.
