Called in an order for pick up and the hostess was really nice. Got fried fish plate, peel ‘n eat shrimp as well as half dozen Carolina Gold wings. Plate had fried okra and crab rice. Everything was really good. Only gripe was the shrimp could’ve used a bit more seasoning. Think it might’ve just been a butter seasoning. Not sure but it was really mild almost bland. Will probably definitely try them out again. Crab rice, fried fish and fried okra (according to my husband) were the best out of everything we ate.

I am giving 5 stars cause of the amazing food. And the waiter was great. It took them forever to confirm order from DoorDash but they did make up for it. I love when you see a bouncer at front door with pistol on his leg , great reminder of how great our freedoms are. The fried shrimp and oysters are awesome. Great job on everything.

The tequila sunrise was nice and smooth. Waitress followed my instructions on the amount of liquor to put in my drink due to the fact that I’m an occasional drinker. Music was definitely on point and the food was amazing. I bought the kids so wasn’t aware of the hookas after 9pm but smoke wasn’t bad at all and seating was seperated so kids were not exposed. I really enjoyed myself our waitress was excellent…Definitely will be coming back!!!!

If I could give them zero stars that would still be too much went in for dinner came in the door nobody greeted us yet the servers look directly at us looked around to be seated nobody came up so we seated ourselves. The waiters continued to walk pass looking directly at us nobody still came over after 10 minutes to give us menus or anything.

Unfortunately I can’t speak to the quality of food. We joined a few people that had been there for 30 minutes before us where we waited an additional 30 minutes. After an hour of sitting at a table next to the bar neither of the wait staff nor the bartender acknowledged us. I stood at the bar an additional 10 minutes to just try to get us some water but was ignored there as well. The bar only had 3 other people at it and the restaurant was only waiting on 4 other tables…most of which came in after us. Not sure if our appearance ofended them in some way but it was very clear we were not welcome. The 6 of us let and are having great time at El Maguey! Highly recommend the second place!!!

First impression had us uncertain if we made a good choice for a late dinner because the dining area was empty and there was a DJ prepping for gig and the ambiance just didn’t have a restaurant feel to it but we decided we’d try it out anyway and found a little hidden gem.

Leisha was awesome. Was acknowledged immediately and told we could sit anywhere. 2 of the booth tables were wobbly and Leisha directed us to the “stable table” lol. Very friendly staff, made you feel very welcomed. We ordered the peeled shrimp, which the shrimp were humungous for the price. We also ordered the crab and shrimp, which was enough to send us home with a to go box. We did use a groupon, which was no trouble at all. We would highly recommend this joint, and would be back regularly if we lived in the area. Thank you Leisha for your hospitality!!

Seated ourselves as the sign stated. Place wasn’t busy at all. Waited 20 minutes and was not acknowledged at all. 2 waitresses walked past our table several times without even a hello. Don’t know about the food but the service and friendliness is an epic fail!
