This place is “OK” at best. Fast service and mediocre customer service. The food is mid and expensive for what it is. Not to mention since its two restaurants in one, they use the same oil so my fries tasted like fish.

Have been there numerous times and never had a bad experience yesterday July 9th 2023 was a nightmare they were not open at 11am forcing us to go some else to eat when we came back around 12:30 pm to at least get our rootbeer floats the girl behind the counter was clueless when we asked for our floats in a frosted mug she had a deer in the headlite look asked numerous times and explained to hernumerous times what we wanted and even told here where the frosted mugs where asked to speak to the manager she talked to a guy at the drive thru window she came back still no clue on what to she whated to put them in a to go wax paper cups then guy in the drive thru tells her they can’t do frosted mugs gets better asked to purchase a 2023 mug again the deer in the head light look again I informed her where they kept the mugs never seen the manager Ibelieve the women walking round was the manager have never experienced anything like this coming from a family that owned a A&W in Illinois for over 30 years this would have been totally unacceptable I was so embarrassed to bring my grandson their it’s totally ridiculous we walked out totally disgusted

Was very impressed with my visit last night this is actually an A&W and a Long John Silvers housed together in the same building. I was greeted upon entry (dine-in was open and the restrooms were clean), ordered a Papa Burger, Fries, and a Blended Root Beer Float all 3 of which were made to order in a reasonable amount of time and perfectly executed. I was stuffed, what a meal!!! and am very glad I made the drive as a part of my evening up in the Tampa area thanking the crew for making my night as I left ringing the bell. If anybody from A&W Corporate reads this would love to see an A&W open again in the Sarasota/Bradenton area just a thought…its been years and I mean years since I was last able to dine at one of your restaurants due to your now limited footprint. I can safely say you are missed down here for sure.

First drive 9 miles to this place and as I placed my order the Manager said the ice cream machine was “not working?” So I stepped back and looked around cause I thought I was in McDonald’s! (If ya got that one then you get it) I order a combo bacon burger. The burger was really good yet the fries were a bit soggy! Call ahead to make sure the ice cream machine is working before driving out there!!

I was very excited to go to A&W when I was in Tampa with my daughter and grandkids. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the food. We dined in. Our burgers were poorly made, (not stacked neatly), buns were soggy. The fries were overcooked and had a funny taste… I think the oil needs to be changed. The only good thing about my meal was a glass of Root Beer. Used to be my favorite restaurant as a kid☹️

First time we came here I got their root beer float and it was amazing. Everything subsequent visit, they were always out. I understand once or twice but how is it out on so many visits? Food is okay. The bathroom was horrendously disgusting whenever someone had to use it.

If I could give 0 stars I would. From walking in someone was mad asking for a refund. Staff or lack there of rude and they act like you giving them your hard earned money is a problem. Food was wrong had to argue with them just to fix it. Manager stood there as his employee argued with me about a burger that they made wrong. Dirty inside tables are a mess. It looks like they are ready to close the business inside.
