The food is great, the atmosphere is decent but the service is terrible. Also, it is very loud in there, you will need to shout so your partner can hear you. We had the Bucatini and Gamberi for food, and the lava cake and Tiramisu for desert. The sea bass was lava cake were awesome. The Bucatini and Tiramisu was just decent, didn’t blow us away. The worst part was definitely the service. Our server kept disappearing. Every-time we needer her, she was no where to be found. Also, please do-not make your customer wait for check.

I don’t know. While the ambience here is nice and the service was quite good, the food fell flat a bit flat for me. For a good, chill dining experience or maybe even a date this place is good but for a stellar dinner maybe not the best

I enjoyed my meal here. The menu is uncomplicated yet diverse. I had the oxtail pasta and an appetizer of fried calamari and shrimp. The meal was tasty and satisfying for what one would want from an Italian cafe at this price point. The patio seating is a wonderful place to sit amongst flowers and greenery on a warm sunny day.

Definitely a very high quality restaurant with unique recipes that is one of a kind and delicious , the waitress was very sweet and friendly and provided a sweet unique birthday desert for my daughter , we loved the Aviance , very classy a great place for a date. Or family and friends get togethers or business dinners there is a Happy Hour so if you are on a budget that is awesome

Hi all Time for another Wine & Pasta Wednesday! Today, coming from the westloop, was a bit of a hike but well worth it. Don’t think I’ve ever been to Andersonville but after dining here I’ll be back! After chatting up a few locals for recommendations we were guided to the meatballs. Rather than go for the Chicago favorite Manzo we took out waiters suggestion and went with the spicy pork Maiale. It didn’t disappoint. Lovely soft texture with just a hint of spice. From there we moved to the Black Peppercorn Cavatelli which was shockingly both rich and light right off the first taste. I think it may have been the smoked prosciutto and peas! . From there we moved to the Braciola de Maiale (yes, more pork but also a suggestion from the waiter). It caught my eye for the peach mostarda. It was cooked well and delightful but my dining companion couldn’t get over the polenta it came with . Another all star. We weren’t ready to leave so we saddled up at the bar for a drink or two. A totally different vibe with more natural light and liveliness than the dining room. We also learned there’s a happy hour menu to order from there. This place was fire and if you want to get a little north of the city, should definitely be a stop on your way.

Great happy hour in the bar area of the restaurant – good for a variety of smaller bites, with some seasonal updates. Wines are great, both those on the happy hour menu and those on the full menu. Definitely recommend a visit here!

We found everything to be exceptional. It was a last second decision for dinner and we were more than pleasantly surprised. So many people I know have been here, but I never had even after living nearby since it opened. I plan to make it a habit! The outdoor seating will be our place this summer.

I’ve never been here before so when my friend suggested it, I was happy to check it out. The food was great! I had the sea bass and it was perfectly seasoned, flaky and flavorful! The ambiance is warm and welcoming. And the service was top notch. Would gladly come back again!
