We are visiting and my friend wanted some chicago deep dish pizza. He never had any before. My local friends brought us here and we ordered the full meat deep dish. It was freshly made and took about 30 minutes to made. The inside had a few tables to sit and was cozy with a nice decor. The pizza was very good and tasted great. The 12” had six slices and was more than enough for 3-4 people. I had two and a half slices and am still full. We also had the garlic bread for an appetizer while we waited for the pizza. We will get this again sometime. Very yummy.

I ordered the wings and mozzarella sticks for appetizers, and the sausage, onions, and peppers deep dish. I enjoyed the appetizers; however, the pizza itself was subpar. The veggies weren’t finely chopped or sliced. For instance, the onion was probably cut into quarters, then individual large slices were likely pulled-apart and placed on the pizza. The crest was delicious, but the pizza itself had no distinctive taste. The sauce was bland, and there was a lack of noticeable cheese. In all, the pizza was okay, but nothing I’d crave again. However, the GM was very helpful and personable. I cannot remember her name, but we connected speaking about our families and home lives.

My review of Bartoli’s focuses solely on their pizza, as my experience with the front house staff unfortunately left much to be desired. Despite the less-than-welcoming attitude of the staff, my encounter took a complete turnaround once I tasted their pizza.

We wanted to try a local place that wasn’t a huge chain and this place did not disappoint. We ended up going to the Ashland Ave. location since they were open at 11 am and we had to leave Chicago early afternoon and weren’t able to wait until 4 pm for the other location to open. The guy taking our order was very friendly and the pizza was amazing! We ordered a deep dish, cheese pizza and it was cooked perfectly and very delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the area and want yummy deep dish pizza.

I ordered over the phone at 8-6-23 at 5:03 pm. For a 18” thin pepperoni pizza the lady said it’s will be done in 35 min so I Wen t to pick up at 5:40 pm when I arrived the lady in the front counter had no idea where was my pizza ?? she quickly blamed the cooks that they gave my pizza away because she could not find it anywhere. So I was like really I’m not waiting for no 30 min for a pizza when it should’ve been ready for me from the beginning . so I asked her what size pizza is that where they keep their slice pizzas and she said 18” so I asked her can I have that one it is a pepperoni pizza? , she said that just came out and gave me that pizza instead. overall I was not satisfied with the communication they have in this place but the pizza was very good they lucky the pizza was so good lbvs . The owner need to retrain they’re customer service and friendly atmosphere.. other than that I do recommend the thin pizzas they are delicious but do call ahead to see if your pizza is not missing.

This pizza is soo GOOD!! My family and I all loved it! I first heard about this place from Luis Gusto’s YouTube channel, he had Bartoli’s pizza as the top Chicago deep dish pizza place. I decided to try it for my birthday, and I’m so glad I did!! Since then I’ve already gone back, and I’m sure I’ll be going again
