Let me start by saying that I’m not writing this cause I expect anything from this restaurant. I just want everyone to know what happened. I was told this place was good so I wanted to try. So I called to place an order for pick up. Then when I went to pay on the phone he told me three times that we can only pay when we pick it up. So after trying to cancel he said that he would find someone to process the order. Then comes back on phone to take my card information. He just didn’t want to do it. Ok now when opening my food my wife found ant or mosquito crawling on her salad. So I immediately started checking my salad and another one. When I called them back and asked for a manager he said that he was the manager. So then I asked for the owner and then he said he was the owner. So the first time I asked for his name he said it was Noel then he said it was carlos. I explained what happened he said it was impossible because they don’t have those bugs in their restaurant. He also tells me he not going to give no refund or food. I told him that I never asked for food or money I just want to make sure that it doesn’t happen again. His response was then why you bothering me and hangs up. Bottom line is not only they food was full of bugs there customer service was horrible. By the way he never even told me who the owner or manager was. Beware

Went to Bella Luna to celebrate my nephew and my brother in law’s surprise birthday dinner today. OMG the food and service was on point everyone said they wanted to come back again. I’m fascinated by the good reviews of this place. The staff is kind but the food is “restaurant rescue” level bad. They need to pare down the menu and do a few things right rather than everything poorly. The bruschetta was clearly kept in the fridge for a long period of time…the tomatoes were horribly flavorless and mealy. The lasagna was…not lasagna. It was a flavorless version of lasagna ingredients thrown into a bowl and run through the oven. It was watery and almost inedible. The “Italian” sandwich was the most edible thing we ordered but even it had a weird flavor and it seemed kind of off. We went here while visiting Richmond from out of town based on the reviews and honestly, the reviewers and the cooks should be embarrassed.
