My husband loves pizza we have tried many places in RVA but this place that we heard so much about, really disappointed us. No sauce just bread and on top of that the mozzarella cheese tasted spoiled. Never again! We like quality not quantity! The slice can be small and taste good rather than big and taste horrible. We paid $36 for a pie and the money went down the drain.

I’m giving Benny’s 4 Stars mostly for the experience/ambience. Where else are you going to go for pizza’s as big as the hood of your car? A slice alone is the size of a full pie at many restaurants!

Pizza made with love, super friendly staff. Heck, I saw a lady with her baby try to carry a pizza and a baby? Some fella working there carried the pizza for her! And the selection of sodas is awesome too, they even had my favorite! Super tasty and I’m a sucker for a big pizza! 11/10; will be back again!

It was okay. The crust is good, seems homemade, but for how thick it is at the end it’s lacking flavor. The cheese seems like mozzarella mixed with parmesan, something about the taste wasn’t super traditional, but still good. My biggest gripe is the amount of toppings. For $1 on a slice, I’d expect there to be almost double the toppings. Only way I’d see myself going back is if it was late and I was walking by, otherwise, there’s better pizza by the slice in the city.

I read about this pizza shop and had to visit. The pizza is delicious and did not disappoint. Besides being the biggest slice I’ve ever eaten. There are a variety of sodas available as well. And, a cool eating challenge too. If a person can finish off a pie in 28 mins they win $280.

Hate to give a bad review because the pizza was good. The problem was hair. Over the course of 2 slices, my girlfriend and I found 5 hairs in our pizza (from different people/parts of the body). The hair was baked into the cheese/dough.

This place has been on my bucket list for a while. I called the location to make sure they were open before stopping by because my boyfriend and I wanted a quick snack/lunch before our dinner reservations a few hours later. We got our slices cooked well done, and added garlic, cheese, and red pepper flakes. The slices here are huge and you really only need one maybe 2 if you’re really hungry. My boyfriend is from NY and loved it and said the pizza reminded him of a New York slice.
