I can dig this unique feel-free oasis of a coffeehouse for Alabama as a world-traveler / former barista myself and was pleasantly surprised. It passed the sniff test when right away after ordering /paying for our drinks the gentlemen immediately goes over and washes his hands before preparing them. That in and of itself says something. Spacious interior ideal for coffee catch-up sessions with a groovy vibe and legit tea selection. Love to see local spots like this prosper and hope to drop in again sometime.

First visit here as we were traveling to Florida. Thought we’d find a unique coffee shop. Berkeley Bob’s was just that. Unique atmosphere great breads from pumpkin to Crazy banana nut. Service was excellent. And coffee was very good!

So many reasons to try this coffee house if you haven’t. Locally owned, fantastic coffee, impeccable service, great muffins, & super laid back vibe. The owner is really friendly & somehow remembers countless usual orders for her numerous regular customers. The conversation is always great. If you’re not sure what to try first, I highly recommend the Almost Blondie!

As soon as I walked in the building with my service dog I was immediately barked at and told to “Get her out of here”. I felt attacked and I will obviously never be giving my business to this establishment ever again. They are extremely rude. And even demanded to know what my service dog is for which I legally am allowed to not have to answer that question but he demanded. It was embarrassing and frustrating. I would never recommend this business to anyone there are better coffee shops anyways.
