We had a fantastic lunch at Betty’s Cafe this week. It was our first visit. Definitely a unique, one-of-a-kind place for breakfast or lunch. My husband ordered the Fri fish special which was catfish and I had the BBQ sandwich. We enjoyed sitting at their lunch counter. It seats around 23 patrons. The noon hour can be packed. By 12:45, it had slowed down. Check their days and hours before you stop.

Old home country feel. The ladies were very friendly. The food is top-notch. The biscuits and gravy with tenderloin.

This was once our go to for Friday catfish. BUT after being charged OVER $20 for a to go plate (ONE plate & NO DRINK) of soggy fish and greasy GREASY fries, never again.

I recently visited Betty’s Stockyard Cafe and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. The gravy and biscuits were particularly noteworthy, with a rich and savory flavor that made for the perfect breakfast. Additionally, the hamburgers were cooked to perfection and topped with fresh ingredients that elevated the taste. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with friendly staff and a welcoming environment. The prices were reasonable and portions were generous, making it a great value for the quality of food. I also appreciated the attention to detail in the decor, with a rustic feel that added to the overall charm of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend Betty’s Stockyard Cafe to anyone in the area looking for a delicious meal.

It is becoming more and more difficult to find places that serve real gravy and not some type of packet mixture mess. Don’t despair though; Betty’s Stockyard Cafe has some of the best gravy and biscuits I have eaten outside of my family’s home cooking and undoubtedly reigns supreme above any other breakfast I have tried at various restaurants in the Tri-Cities area. Great food, great portions, great prices. Can’t wait to stop by and try something from the lunch menu the next time I am in the area.

The food was OK. Was not worth 37.00 for 2 20oz sodas in bottles no refills. 1 sweet tea bacon cheeseburger with fries. Cheeseburger with fries and a grilled cheese with fries. I could have eaten at mid city for that. No one ask us if our food was OK like they were doing for their regulars. The price I was charged did not add up to the prices on the menu. Very disappointed. The stools were a very uncomfortable feature.

This lovely Cafe is like a trip down memory lane, no tables, only seating is stools at the counter. Delightful staff, when was the last time a waitress called you “hun”? No frills menu, but excellent food.
