Allergy friendly!! I am allergic to gluten (the protein in wheat, barley, rye) and I am allergic to casein (the protein in all dairy products, to include butter).

This morning we spent over $100 for breakfast to go (granted that was for 8 people) My 6 year old son’s pancake contained several pieces of dead insect This is not acceptable and we definitely will not be back, having occasionally had breakfast here a few years ago and we never had issues.. Our entire breakfast was lackluster, I ordered biscuits and gravy, there wasn’t hardly any gravy. Now everyone is afraid to eat their food after the pancake findings. I do not recommend this establishment.

This is the type of diner that you see in the movies and shows. There’s a jukebox, millshakes, pie, and a little merch shop. The food is really good, and the menu has a good variation of options. The staff is very attentive and friendly, my drink was never empty. There is a another diner near by, but Black Bear is better. They have the best millshakes I’ve ever had, and the bathrooms are also very clean. I enjoyed the couple times that I’ve dined at Black Bear, and I look forward to dining there again.

Huge portions, the “We be Jammin” burger was awesome and I couldn’t finish the frys. My wife had a club sandwich which was also good. I had a strawberry shake and my wife had a huckleberry shake.

This is a no frills place. Had the Bear Choice breakfast, selected the scrambled eggs, pancakes and ham steak. Ordered up a side of hash browns, which was spendy but it definitely was a full order. This place had always been known to me as larger portions. Which it was except for the ham steak. I’d say I got maybe a 1/4 of a piece, where usually they’d serve closer to half. Otherwise everything else was ok. The server was nice and kept the coffee filled.

I basically felt like I had carb loaded for a bodybuilding show after finishing the BIGFOOT Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs. My abs were popping and I went home and took a long nap on this warm a** day after getting off from work!

Service was great. Unfortunately food was raw when it should have been cooked. But coffee was good.

The food is good and large portions. Typical diner food. We had a very nice server who took good care of us. Everyone ordered the volcano and it was plenty of food with lots of leftovers.
