I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. When I entered, I felt like I was transported to the 80’s. The pastel colors, plants everywhere, the office tile ceiling, the mandatory mass produced paintings on the wall of ships and lanscape and lastly the mirrors on the wall. Our server Maryann was friendly, straight to the point and anticipated our needs. You can’t beat the special that ranges from $11-$16, you get soup, salad, entree, drinks and dessert. I got chicken and orzo, salad with oil and vinegar, breaded pork chops in mushroom gravy with rice and carrots, and ice chocolate cream. My husband got the bean and vegetable soup, mac and cheese with crab cakes and strawberry ice cream. Delicious! I can go into details but all I can say is that I will definitely go back. Highly recommended!

Ample portions ( diner fare ) &decent prices. Excellent service ,very clean yet very run down . My only issue is they place everyone near eachother instead of of table or 2 away ( literally steps so not extra work for staff) ,the clientele is older & always loud literally yelling across tables & pay no mind if your table is in-between. I had 2 people insert themselves in our conversation . If it’s a relaxed ” in your family home ” atmosphere then it should be posted & give guests a choice to sit at a quiet table. We packed up our order & left. We wanted a quite meal, not loud opinions & shouting , honestly it was never this way before covid ,now it’s obnoxiously loud opinions & complaints shouted back & forth , odd that seniors complain about younger generations . Ask for seat far away from other parties & you will enjoy an inexpensive tasty meal with great service.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. Came here based off a recommendation from a coworker and was very surprised. The scampi dish I had was top tier and as better than anything I’ve paid double for at a “fancy” restaurant. My wife’s breaded pork chop was excellent as well. For the complementary dessert I had a cannoli cake and my wife had cheesecake which better than anything I bought at a bakery. When we told our also excellent waiter, he said all the baking is done in house. Hats off to the cooks they do a fantastic job. This was our first time here and it definitely will not be our last.

Had wonderful waffles for brunch and Kelly was our waitress. Did an excellent job. Always love having her as out waitress. They were out of whipped cream one time and Kelly ran next door to ALDIs to buy some so we would have some. Not many waitresses would do that!

It’s good dinner for breakfast or early lunch. Alot of the staff is very nice and do their jobs well, the atmosphere is very tame and quiet just alittle suffocating when busy
