I like to visit a restaurant a couple of times before I make a review, but I went with my son, and he’s been a number of times, so I’m also using him as a reviewer. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful with wonderful artwork. Our Waiter Jonathan was very knowledgeable with the types of food and helped my grandson get something he loved. The food was very well done, the flavors were lip smacking, so delicious that we ate it all. I wish I’d taken an after photo also to show how we cleaned up. It’s on my short list of RVA must eat.

My wife selected Blue Habanero as a new spot for us to try. Although the parking is a little dicey, the food and drinks were worth the inconvenience.

Went here for my mother’s birthday. The food and drinks were amazing. We had a little snag with the wrong food and slow service. I was a little upset that the cake that I had brought was messed up when they placed it on the table. So that was disappointing, but overall, it was good.

The food was incredible and came out quicker than we could blink. The spicy paloma was thoughtful and delicious. We came here for dinner and then two doors down for ice cream at Scoop, it was the perfect date night, can’t wait to come back!

This such a cool spot! The music and decor was on point. We got the trio sampler and the queso and guac hit the spot! My passion fruit mojito was FANTASTIC. I am very picky about mojitos and it was just what I wanted! The quesabirria tacos were delicious and the meat was super tender and melted in my mouth. The rice was not very good and super mushy. I also tried the chili lime shrimp tacos which were also delicious. Service was a bit slow but they were very apologetic and attentive for the wait! Definitely gonna come back soon.

My friend took me here for the first time. She’s been here before and recommended it, so we decided to go for lunch. I was blown away with the portion size for the nachos supreme. And this was an appetizer! Huge amount of food. It was delicious. Melty cheese, tasty chicken and steak, I’m not a beans person but their black beans were good. Could tell the salsa was fresh. Only hard park is finding a parking spot.

This was our first time. Started by getting drinks at bar, took awhile to get noticed by bar staff. Drinks were phenomenal though. Highly recommend the watermelon habanero margarita. we were waiting for a table, but when bar opened up first, we grabbed those seats. started with tuna ceviche which tasted amazing (spicy, flavorful not overly citrusy, great balance), but wish tuna chunks were smaller. it also doesn’t come with chips, which i found weird, but bartender hooked it up and got us some. street tacos were excellent, lots of filling, great flavor. rice/sides are light. service was slow, but friendly. they were slammed on a saturday, but we often had to flag someone down. overall really great spot and we will go back.

Dank food. Kinda over priced. Got three tacos and some “spicy veggies” (it’s not spicy at all) as a side. 16$. Margaritas are yummy. 5$ during happy hour (ends at 6pm) Highly recommend raspberry.

A great place to spend your Taco Tuesday. The service is friendly and you can’t beat the drink menu! If you and your friends are down, tackle the Nachos Supreme, you won’t be disappointed. I’ll be back before you know it!
