Great place to eat with a view of Lake George, the steam boats pass by here, if you do outdoor seating during cold season, wear proper clothing. It is cold since there are no overhead heaters during my visit. They have indoor space also.

We always stop here for a meal while traveling through Lake George. Great place for a sandwich or burger. Right on the water with covered open dining for the view. Parking in Lake George is a pain, but they have their own lot and your waitress will validate your ticket for free parking.

Our first meal of our trip, and I wish it was better. My husband and I shared boneless wings. They were overcooked and just oilly wings with parmesan cheese on top. My husband got pulled pork sandwich, and it wasn’t anything special. I had fish and chips…the fish was hot and bland, the fires were cold. The location was nice cause we got to sit right at the lake. There was still cobwebs all over that took away from the experience for me. The waitstaff was pleasant but not ver attentive.

Great atmosphere, food is OK, the service (at least our server) could use some improvement. My wife purchased a Bloody Mary and when it arrived, it was the small one, not the large Masson jar one. When she questioned this, the server very rudely stated “well, that’s what you ordered “. This may be true but you may want to ask when someone orders this item to be sure. Also, she picked up a plate with food still on it before we were done eating so she could bring the bill. We would return, but pray we get a different server.

The view of the lake was beautiful but the food did not impress. Chicken tenders were so thin and overcooked and dry. Friend got the fish and chips. Fries were fine but the fish was so greasy and batter was way too thick, fish was a little dry too. My crab cakes were fine, a little spicy and lot of mayo. My preference is lump crab and it was not like that. The view was good but didn’t make up for the food. I know it’s by the water and it’s probably hard to control but there were so many bugs and spiders everywhere which made relaxing difficult.

Staff was very cranky. Waitress never even asked us how we wanted our burgers cooked had zero personality. I tried to order chicken and they were out of all chicken. The lobster bisque had very little taste. So disappointed wanted a good meal and sit on the lake.

I got the shrimp po’ boy and my wife got the crab cakes. They were good and the roulade was delicious. The fries were okay. The food and service lost a star because the grill was broken, making some menu items unavailable, and we were only advised of this after our drink order was already delivered. The view was great, but there was nowhere to escape the country music coming from the bar area.
