Always good food, well made, great friendly, fast service. My better half loves the chicken and I love the fish sandwich made with battered deep fried cod fish, tartar sauce, and I add cheese. Comes with fries, but I always get an order of six fritters, also…..sooooo good! All of it!. If you don’t want fries, you can get potato salad or elbow macaroni salad instead. All are fresh made and done right. Was it down with iced tea, or a Pepsi product.

This is our first visit to Buds and so far, the staff seems nice and the restaurant is clean. They have self serve beverage Pepsi station. Sweet and no sweet teas yummy! The kitchen here even looks very clean from the outside. It has three T.V.s going on sports and other shows. They play country music to finish off the good vibe of fried fish, chicken and more. The fish sandwich is amazing for fast food places. The french fries are nice and hot. The macaroni and beans are sooooo good.

I will stop going after 7pm – I asked for the Buffalo wings – it is never fresh cooked during that time – the chicken pieces are old and when I get home and open the box- it is just the warm the hot sauce thrown over the chicken pieces. There needs to be an mature worker/ Manager watching what they throw out at you.

Delicious! I had the fried chicken. I got the two piece box for $4.45, a breast and a drumstick. This is NOT frankenchicken. This is normal sized-fresh chicken which tastes like it was fried in Crisco. The crust is a flakey and crunchy as a pie crust. Moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside, perfectly seasoned. It was so good I had to try their fried shrimp. They were jumbo shrimp perfectly fried and crunchy. The tartar sauce is homemade and tastes like it. It is the. EST tartar sauce I have ever had. And I am a PICKY eater and very particular about my tartar sauce. They should sell this stuff by the gallon. The only thing I didn’t care for was the unsweet tea. It probably would have tasted better with a 1/4 of sugar. It just wasn’t strong enough. But this is the best fried fried I’ve had. The staff was friendly and efficient.

So Close Skateboarding
Last year my family and I filmed a commercial for Bud’s. We were given some free meal vouchers with an expiration of 30 days. Unfortunately we live over an hour from the nearest Bud’s location and weren’t able to get back until today. Michael, at the Okeechobee and Royal Palm location, was not only kind enough to honor the vouchers, but treated my family to 5 star hospitality. If you haven’t eaten at Bud’s chicken and seafood, you’re missing the best tenders, fish sandwiches and conch fritters in south Florida.
