This Mongolian BBQ is a nice gem of a place to find out in the city of tucson. Also location is in a decent part of town as well with other great places nearby to visit.

I wouldn’t return. You’re much better off to go to a restaurant where you don’t have to guess the sauce vs. food ratio. The recommended sauces do not provide enough moisture for a bowl. The noodles were the best part and you can find better, less expensive lo mein anywhere.

First impression place was hot as soon as you enter like they have a.c. at 78. Limited items for you to add the stir fry. My main complaint is that the area where the ingredients are kept was dirty there was food on the floor and and some spread on the small counter where you put the bowl while you are putting the ingredients in it. The staff seems very stingy with the rice, you have to ask for the soup and sesame bread witch had a good taste but it was very greasy. I had the hot and sower soup and it lacked any hint of flavour. The have clear and blue plastic glasses so they can differentiate the ” water” glasses from the soft drinks. They clearly have signs posted every where that they will not provide you with a to-go container. They really need to take a lesson from YC’s in Mesa the place is clean and inviting, staff is super friendly, place is nice and cool and you can have as much rice as you like as many times as you like and they do offer you to-go boxes. Will not visiting C I Chu’s again….. Next

Horrible. To start with, the place is dingy and doesn’t seem overly clean. You pick the food like a buffet and then they cook it on a grill while you pay ($18 a bowl!) and pick soups, rice and “bread” (it’s like a tortilla with sesame seeds in the crust). The grilled food was dry even after adding sauce, the bread and rice were fine but the soup was downright disgusting. They had a very bland egg drop soup and what they called hot and sour soup that tasted like the egg drop soup but they added chillies and malt vinegar. Too much malt vinegar. Insane for the price. And usually, at a Mongolian BBQ place, you get to watch the chefs cook your food in front of you, maybe even be a bit silly about it, but they practically force you away from watching over your food. Don’t even get me started on cross contamination with any food allergies or preferences. Highly recommend staying well away from this place.

Great service, the hostess was able to explain the process of filling the bowl and choosing a good balance of noodles/veggies/meat. Pro tip: you want your bowl filled to the top and just a little over, because everything will shrink down when it cooks.

I’ve been now 3 times and each time I’ve left satisfied. The process of building your meal is enjoyable, they are careful to separate meats for any dietary restrictions. The sides that come along are delicious as well (rice, soup & bread) – prices may seem a bit high but trust me you get what you pay for!

Cannot recommend. Walked in, asked employee if this was all you can eat. She replied that I should just fill my bowl and take it to the chef, so I did. As we went up to the register, sign said they do not provide to go containers for all you can eat. A sign on the table said the same. However, when I asked how to get more, the same employee asked if I had otdered the all you can eat. Apparently I was supposed to know what she never said, that I must ask for and pay for all you can eat at the cashier. I see no reason to return here.

It wont blow u away but it’s a decent lunch spot. U wont have anything undercooked. The sesame bread is pretty good. I recommend sticking with egg drop soup unless you are used to the flavors of the other two. Option between white and brown rice, i feel like they missed out on the opportunity to have fried rice as an option. Overall i enjoyed it.

I love this food. It’s expensive- but delicious. You basically get what you want in your bowl and they cook it perfectly for you. Yum!

Build your bowl with choices of noodles, veggies, sauces and proteins. Once you make your selections, they cook it on the grill and bring it to your table. Each bowl comes with choice of soup, rice & bread. Overall food was good, nice selection of toppings and sauces.
