When we arrived it was about 8:50pm. I noticed that were absolutely no ppl of color here. Which is fine. We stood waiting for the host and he kept doing other things instead of attending to us guests. The environment did not feel very welcoming, people kinda just looked at you. We decided to go up to the host and mention that we had a bigger party but the host said they were unable to accommodate us because their kitchen was closing. The place closes at 11pm, why would their kitchen close so early? If you’re of color- I do not recommend coming here.. not great service nor were they apologetic for not being able to accommodate our party.

We created a group for women in the Sarasota and Manatee county to meet new friends called Sarasota Sisterhood. We meet all over the county and was so impressed with how well we were treated here. Sean is a super human and the best server I’ve ever experienced (and I managed restaurants). Big thank you. We will be back.

Truck driver looking 4 a good place to grab a meal, this is it. Large parking lot 4 your truck(bobtail only), pet friendly (outside dining). I had the grouper diner $$. Meal was good but my server May was excellent. I don’t know about the others but if you want excellent service ask for May. I will be back to try more of the menue.

Beautiful view of the Manatee River from this riverside restaurant. Boat access to a dock is available. Parking lot was pretty full, but there’s overflow parking available. Fortunately, when we arrived at about 1pm on a Sunday, we had no wait, but the place quickly filled up. By the time we left, there was a one hour wait for a table. We were seated immediately and ordered drinks and a grouper bites appetizer. The bites were delicious and the drinks were refreshing as well. We ordered chicken nachos, fish and chips, shrimp basket, and coconut shrimp. All of the food was delicious, especially the coconut shrimp. Service was slow though, and we kept having to ask for water refills. When we ordered more drinks, those took a while too. Other than the service, we had a great experience here, as we typically do.

If you like dinner on the water, then this is your place. In fact if you just want a good time check the nice folks out at Caddy. Our server was Mae and she is a great sales person. I was so full when I left OMG. Great portions and Outstanding Flavors. Started with a Bucket of Margarita and a Bloody Mary. Gotta try the Grouper app. Super fresh thin breading cooked perfectly. Then had the Crab Cakes and the Chowder! Wow. Perfect flavor with shrimp Crab and potatoes. Creamy awesome. And we had a bucket of Pina Colada. Oh man. Finally we bought a couple of wet dry shirts. What a way to start the day. I’ll come back and try the grouper again for sure. If I lived in Bradenton I’d be a regular. Don’t miss the tiki bar and beach ️ volleyball. Seriously fun place.

Our favorite waiter is Shaun. He is amazing. This is a must keep place and we welcome the changes but are glad to hear it will remain or be rebuilt. Roger was great too. Food is greatly improved from former years. So glad with the current management. Everything is good and better than before.
