We came here for brunch on a rainy Sunday afternoon as a party of 4. We had a reservation because we heard they get pretty busy but it was pretty empty inside. They have both inside and outside dining but we of course chose to sit inside. Including us there were 3 groups there while we were ordering and the service was SO slow. It took over 30 minutes for our food to come out which was super frustrating given that the other 2 groups were already served. We ordered the goat cheese wontons (delicious), crispy chicken wrap (not very crispy but overall it was fine) and a side of truffle fries (really good!), Peking duck tacos (so good and crispy) with a side of Mac n cheese (pretty good), salmon tacos (I heard good things), and kitchen sink omelette (looked burnt to me but I also heard good things). The salmon tacos were supposed to come with a side of fries or salad and didn’t come out with one. So we asked and the guy was a little frustrating about it. Overall the place was nice, the food was good, but I wouldn’t go hungry because you’ll wait forever.

We celebrated with my mom for her 84th birthday. We had a wonderful late lunch, and a great time.

We had a wonderful dinner. Not your commonplace restaurant. Heavy on seafood. I had the squid ink pasta with seafood and truffles. Pleasantly surprised that the truffle flavor was not overpowering.

Superb meal, friendly and attentive service, and chill vibe. I particularly enjoyed the salmon summer rolls and seafood risotto. Family raves about ahi tuna tacos, rock shrimp tempura and crispy duck. The deserts are to die for – especially the ricotta pistachio cheesecake.

Fun and a little chic Greenwich dinner locale. The lobster shooters appetizer was Michelin star worthy! Scallop entree was masterfully prepared. 4 stars as the place is noisy and dessert menu does not compete. We had a flavorless Napoleon… FLAVORLESS! Suggest a redo on dessert planning…

Great new restaurant in Greenwich, Connecticut. We ordered the Canoe Mixed green salad, the Canoe Burger, the Goat Cheese Wonton and the Grilled Octopus. Everything was suuuper good. The Octopus was my personal highlight! It came with brussels sprouts and potatos in a delicious sauce. 10/10 would recommend!

Went 2 days after they opened and I have to say what a meal. The owner came over and had a chat with me and my friend. Very personable and enjoyable to chat with her. The food was delicious and would highly recommend. Will definitely be back!!!

I rarely write restaurant reviews but given how good our food was at Canoe, I was motivated. All our appetizers were excellent including the fish and duck tacos, the goat cheese wontons (which came out piping hot), and the rock shrimp tempura. For entrees, the crispy duck was a huge winner, how they get the skin that crispy is magical, and my salmon was cooked to perfection. I’m not sure why people complain about the dessert menu, as there were plenty of choices and the two we got were very good. I must add that it was a bit cold in the tent outside, so a couple of additional heaters would make sense and our first round of drinks did take a big longer than we wanted. However, $10 for a good glass of chardonnay is a rarity in Greenwich and overall the prices are very fair, especially given current food inflation. We’ll definitely go back again soon and suggest others do the same.

A horrible taste. We previously used to order from the Beach house Cafe but now that it is closed we ordered from here and the change is for the worse. We had ordered their spicy fish taco and it was so flavorless, bitter and flat to taste unlike the one we had from Beach house cafe. The Napoleon was a disaster, the cream nothing like before, the pastry chewy without its fluffy lamination and the cream was clayey like a paste, Im not sure if they have the same chef as they used to have and its a shame really, the Beach House cafe was such a lovely place to eat from and now the food is just flavorless and the quality was not at all up to the mark. We threw away the food after a few bites. Not returning. Miss the beach house cafe.
