At our Leesville, LA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I just left Captain D’s in Leesville La 71446 and ordered the DELUXE SPICY SEAFOOD PLATTER, order # 0122 and paid nearly $15.00 (12.99 + tax 1.30=14.29) only to get all the way home and open my food and THIS FISH IS OLD AS THE FOOD THEY COOKED AT LUNCH TIME! Mind you, it’s 7:25pm! It’s hard and very burnt dark. You can tell it was dropped back in the grease to give the illusion that it’s hot. No, ITS OLD! Clearly, no where close to being fresh! The fish is very dry inside. The shrimp chew like rubber. The fries ARE COLD. The stuffed crab is NOT IT! It’s just full of grease from being dropped back in the grease. This is too much money just WASTED. I WILL NEVER RETURN!

I ordered a white fish with grilled shrimp and both blackened and it’s was no flavor to it my fish look like it was boiled and I saw no seasoning on it. The shrimp was on a skewer and almost seemed dry when I bit into it. And since it was grilled I was looking for that flavor from being grilled but no. Was not happy with food glad we’re leaving tomorrow back home I won’t be back after that. Sorry no pics was hungry so had to eat it. Idk how my boss food was I paid his and I haven’t heard bad from him, so maybe it was good what he had, catfish and shrimp

I have gone to the Captain D’s in Leesville for years. In the past I have been there 2 to three times a week. Today I was there and placed my order at the Drive Thru (Fish and Chicken plate, and 1 8 piece jalapeño poppers). Paid for and waited. Got home with my order and it was missing the poppers. Went back to the restaurant, by then the food was completely cold. The so called manager, Ashley something flatly refused to remake the order with an attitude. I got a refund and left. Sadly I probably won’t ever go back again.

First charged us for wrong order and had to refunded. Then we get home. Our fish wasn’t cooked. So much breading. Got like 5 fries and none of the sauces we asked for. Would recommend going somewhere else to eat!!

Very warm welcome. Told them I wanted one kind of food and was charged for and received another food. I know I was heard for what I wanted as she asked me how many fish I wanted which was not a choice on what I received. Dining room was on the chili side however my husband and I were only ones there. Had to ask for butter and sour cream my already Luke warm baked potato. Food was not ice cold but Luke warm when we got it.
