Great food! The options are limited but with carribean style of food you should know what you are coming here to eat! The owner runs the place by himself now and still does a good job. There is a patience needed for specialty items that I get often and have no problem waiting for! Not to mention the achievement of yet another award from NBC12!

The food was great as always. Today I had Stew Chicken w/ Fried Plantains and Cabbage. I also tried the sorrell, which had an excellent rich flavor!

Found this place years ago and I must say I love the food. Always a fair portion. You will never leave hungry unless you did not eat. The Curry Chicken is a must try. It just melts in your mouth. The owner is awesome. When my daughter was little and I took her there for the first time she wanted chicken fingers and mac & cheese. They did have mac and cheese but he made her some. She loved the chicken fingers and the mac & cheese. I just wish I still worked in that area again but I truly miss not being there at least once a week.

We tried this place a few days ago for the first time and it was beyond amazing!! I tried both the jerk chicken and the curry chicken and both were delicious. I also loved the atmosphere. It was colorful, tropical and just as Caribbean-authenic as the food. The owner (who also cooks the food) was friendy, attentive and gave us exceptional service. We will be back again soon!!

We were traveling through Richmond yesterday and wanted Caribbean food. We found this place on google. When we arrived the place was closed and appeared to have been closed for a while now. We were very disappointed because all the positive reviews, we just knew we were about to have a good meal after a long day of traveling.

Having traveled extensively all over the globe, this is the best Caribbean food I’ve experienced! Extremely hygienic environment and attentive, friendly service. Phone before going, as their food is made fresh daily, and specific menu choices may sell out. I’ll return often!

The options were limited the evening I ate here but that is because the owner only wants to serve fresh food and many menu items sold out. He told me that he does not always serve goat but with 24 hours notice he would prepare goat for me. Nice decor, delicious food and a delightful host. I will definitely be back again!

Friendly chef operated restaurant. Second Carribean food experience in Richmond. Jerk chicken a smash hit with the whole family. Curry chicken mild taste for Indian fiery taste. Roti skin with stuffed pea powder very soft – reminds me of Tamil sweet boli. Coco bread and sweet pan fried plantains well loved by kids. We were very hungry. Food was so fresh and took a while to come out. Be prepared to wait but the taste made us forget the wait. No chicken patties. Will try the shrimp stuff next visit as they’re made to order.
