Let’s begin with, my husband thoroughly enjoyed his burger. The burger was cooked to perfection and topped well and overall a delight. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich with slaw and Mayo on the side. Took my first bite and I could barely bite through the chicken. Granted, the chicken breast was thin but super dry and tough (over cooked for sure). I took the sandwich back to them and asked “is this how all the chicken breast are cooked?” The guy said “yes” I said “but it’s so dry” he said “did you put everything on there?” Asking about the Mayo and the slaw. So I thought to myself in order to enjoy this chicken sandwich it has to be drenched in other condiments? It’s really unfortunate because I was looking forward to enjoying the food. I gave it another bite just in case but it was all the same. Needless to say it was a waste. The chicken breast should be thrown in the trash and Carver’s should stick to the beef!

Phenomenal burgers! Was recommended to try here and I’m glad I did. It’s located inside downtown market and has an extraordinary variety of high quality meats and such, including snake river meats (like American Kobe beef).

I got the steak sandwich, and it was divine! The Kobe beef was tender and juicy and paired perfectly with the mushroom+onions, provolone, and horsey sauce. The fries were delicious as well. They were seasoned well and stayed crispy to the the last one! This meal was definitely worth its price.

I Got a dry aged burger for 18$ definitely didn’t have 18$ quality. Burger was flat and dry. Tasted and looked like the frozen burger patties that someone would buy from the frozen section at the grocery store. When it said dry aged I didn’t think it ment literally.

One of the many great spots in the Downtown Market. As a meat counter they really have some amazing cuts of local raised meat. They also have a great menu of fantastic sandwiches and dogs. I tried the Kobe Beef dogs and they may have been the best dog I’ve ever had. I only left one star off because seating can be a challenge if the market is pretty busy.

Fabulous food! The Santa Fe beef soup was so tender, the cheeseburger held up to the description of “best burger you’ll ever have”, and the Kobe beef tacos equally amazing! To top it all off, our server Dan was efficient, attentive and quite charming. Great job!
