Don’t know if the food was any good as I chose not to eat at a place with poor customer service. I walked into an empty restaurant at 2:25 looking to order lunch. The waitress came to my table at 2:30 and would not allow me to order off the lunch menu. I suppose if you’re really busy or it’s considerably after the lunch hour you can enforce your lunch hours but considering their lack of patrons and I had walked in the door before the lunch hour was over some consideration could be made. Their unwillingness to provide reasonable customer service cost them a customer.

Not as good as it used to be. We had enchiladas, fajitas, and burritos and they all lacked flavor. The best item was the queso. A smile would go a long way in this place.

We came in tonight with 13 people for a birthday. The 2 women and 2 men working all treated us like they were annoyed we were there. No exaggeration. Not one smile for the 2 hours we were there. I like the food here but the customer service needs serious improvement. SMILE! Ask how the food was.. You guys were all crabby. And charging $8 for one shot of Jose is crazy. We will not be back. And we do a lot of parties. Great food but you guys need a personality!!

I believe you first eat with your eyes. My queso blanco enchilada looked dreadful. The sauce was white clear water & the cheese on top was tiny cold round unmelted pieces. I was able to try 2 small bites I tried to explain to the waiter why I couldn’t eat it. He grabbed the plate from my hands & stated they had been cooking this way for 3 years. No matter to him that I have eaten Hispanic food nationally & internationally! I almost thought he was going to charge me for it. He did not. Unauthentic meals & extremely poor customer service!! I will not be returning here. There are too many really good restaurants to choose from.

Good service, decent atmosphere, and the food was decent. This is your typical American/Mexican style place. They have a very large selection on the menu with some very interesting dishes. I would recommend the establishment and I will be back again.

My burrito al pastor was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented, the bite I had of the carnitas was wonderful – the seasoning elevating the savory meaty flavor without overpowering it. I especially want to highlight the service, attentive and kind but mostly her patience with me attempting to practice my horrible Spanish. I don’t know how she kept it together when I began by asking for “woman food” instead of the “best food” on the menu. If I ever get back this way again maybe woman food will be on the menu! The mojito was fresh and delicious and the margarita was quite pleasant. I love exploring this part of Wisconsin and this restaurant makes me want to come back soon.

We went there with a friend who likes Mexican food. It was her 50th birthday and she had called ahead to see if we could book a table or section for a somewhat big party (about 10-15 people). She said that she was told they do not take reservations and we all just needed to show up and take whatever table was available. The place is small and most of their tables are gigantic booths. It was impossible to get our whole party to be close to each other. We mostly ended up at the bar. The staff looked at us like we were inconveniencing them and, even though, they were friendly with our orders, they did not attempt at all to make the sitting situation any better nor offer any alternatives. Most likely because there weren’t many alternatives since the layout of the place makes it impossible to have big parties there. Lesson learned for us! The food was also not impressive at all. I ordered some sort of chorizo and rice dish and the chorizo was so incredibly salty, I ended up scraping it off my food because it was absolutely inedible. The mango margaritas were delicious! My friend ordered cheap shots for all of us or what she thought were cheap (regular Cuervo) and she ended up paying $8 a shot, which was outrageous! Overall I would not recommend this place for big parties and I would advise people going to stay away from the chorizo unless you like super salty food.

The best authenic Mexican food I ever had. Loved the coconut margarita as well. When I’m in the area again I’m coming back. Excellent!

Enjoyable lunch stop. Not too large of portions, and flavors were very unique for seafood enchiladas (great sauce). Be sure to ask for the hot salsa as well, excellent! 22oz beers too!
