We were lucky that we tried Ceviche House on our recent trip to Oahu. My mouth is still watering thinking about it

The ceviche here was exactly the way I remembered from my road trip through Mexico. I missed that taste so much! It was excellent! The restaurant was very clean and very inviting, and the service was superb. The owner, Miriam was working tonight and she was super nice.

Small placed. Gets hot inside. They should invest in an AC or open up the doors? Anything for a breeze pleaaasee. Anyways, ordered a shrimp cocktail and it was pretty good but it only had like 6 shrimps in it? Overall simple and decent place, good cocktails, good service. Could use a little polishing up. Looks slightly dirty but if youre like me and get delicious shrimp cocktails from run down lunch trucks in Mexico, you would know a little dirt never hurt nobody. Def reminds me of home. I’ll be coming back to try some other stuff here. I do recommend giving it a shot.

Ordered the large sized Shrimp Ceviche, chips and salsa to go. The Ceviche itself was fantastic, fresh and extremely tasty. Saw a gentlemen enjoying tje shrimp cocktail and that looked so ono as well, definitely on my must try list for my next visit. The chips however were a little disappointing, not sure if they are homemade or not, and the salsa was not like any salsa I have seen, more like hot sauce then salsa, which may be traditional style. It is very, very spicy, to the point of unpleasantness. I would add it to any dish, used more as a taco sauce to add depth, but its wasnt somthing that I found could be eaten just with straight chips. So 5 stars for the Ceviche itself but minus 1 star for the chips, which were seasoned strip shaped, not warm and seemed to me to be along the lines of mass produced, but I could be wrong about that. Totally worth the detour onto Wilikina anytime you are heading to central Oahu…

Yum! This place is owned by the same people as El Palenques in Wahiawa. As El Palenques is one of my favorite places to get AUTHENTIC Mexican food, I knew this place had to be good.

The food was Great here. We had some mexican bottled drinks to go with our ceviche. The hot sauce that they give you with your ceviche us spicy but very flavorful! It’s kind of far from Waikiki but it was definitely worth the drive.

Omg !!! So I was craving shrimp cocktail and I had just got off of work around 547pm. This place closes 6 however, I called them and made my order. I thought they would reject me but they didn’t. A woman politely answered the phone and told me she would have my order ready. I get there around 554 and I was surprised the door was still open. Not to mention when I got home and actually tried the cocktail it was so AMAZING ❤️ I love this place!!!

Me encanta! True Mexican style ceviche. Generous portions. I’ve tried the AvoCuatro and the Especialidad de la Casa. Son perfectos! The AvoCuatro consists of four avocado halves each heaped with 1 of 4 types of ceviche. The Especialidad is ceviche served on a chicharron. A brilliant idea.

This is the best ceviche I had outside of Mexico! We found this place by a chance, it is right off Kam Hwy in Wahiawa. The place was very cozy, and clean, and the service was simply outstanding. The owner, Miriam was super nice and I really enjoyed talking to her. I loved the ceviche and I will be back for more! I

Had the carne asada burrito … It was good size, full of mostly beans & rice with corn and a small portion of reheated old asada beef served luke warm. Some chunks of meat were so hard and burnt I couldn’t even chew em. IDK why NO ONE on this island in 5 years of searching can make even a decent asada burrito. Meat is never done fresh or seasoned right, always weird small or smothered in other sauces to mask the BS. Will someone please tell me where to find one? I just want street tacos and real asada burritos that are all over SoCal, LA, San Diego and even NorCal. I guess I shouldn’t go to a Ceviche house for a burrito. Lesson learned- Cucumber Lemonade was awesome, that was about it.
