As soon as I walked in the cashier rudely asked what I wanted. I ordered and asked a question about the app and got no response, he literally just blinked at me! I placed my order and left because it felt like I was in a high school gym class. I got home to realize that there was 1 scoop of meat on my sub and the other was upside down in the container. I realized that the other sub was upside because it only had lettuce on it. No meat or anything! I really used to love this place and thought the service and food was worth it, but after paying $15 for bad attitudes and a salad that was supposed to be a sub, i don’t think I’ll be back. It’s really sad to see a place that used to be good quality go down hill like they have!

I should have known better, walking two people taking order, then they disappeared right after ordering. The one guy cooking the food, completely forgot our cheese and bacon, and the special onion rings we just that special. I probably won’t be back and will look for more mom and pop type places to eat. If you do eat here don’t get it to go, eat in the parking lot you will need a bathroom about 20 mins after consuming it will hit you like a brick.

This was my first real meal after major surgery. My wife and I got takeout from here on our way home. The food was good quality for a reasonable price. I will say my sandwich was good but the bite I took of my wife’s was better. So I know what to order next time lol. Also the bacon cheese fries alone were worth the stop. We will be stopping in again the next time we’re in town.

I come in for dinner a lot and my family and I also eat take out. We have noticed that the Charley’s on W Market St is really poorly ran. We can never get anyone on the phone, ever, to order. We have tried numerous times but they never answer. I know this has to be running a ton of customers off. Also, every single time they’re about to close- they lock the door usually an hr or more before close. It would make sense that they wanted plenty enough time to clean and everything, but for normal restaurants- and I’ve worked at a bunch, this isn’t normal. People usually take customers right up until close and do their side work while they’re closing. I have never seen a business do this every single day before in my life. I feel really bad for the owner of this business because I know it has to be frustrating having your employees do this because it’s probably taking a ton of your business. I don’t usually comment on these things, I really don’t try to leave reviews but this is one that I feel is necessary for the owners or people managing this restaurant. Please take my advice and hire better staffing and managers for your restaurant. The Charley’s in the mall is a great atmosphere and everyone is always kind and the food is great. Every time I’ve come to the Charley’s on West Market it’s been either A. People closing way too early (and for us that get off work later that is super annoying to drive somewhere thinking there’s an hour or two left and the doors are closed) or B. poor quality service and rudeness. Take it from someone who has helped run restaurants for years, you can do so much better! The only reason we continue to eat here at all is because it’s close to our house and the food is good. I hope you hear me, I really wanna see this business thrive because the food is great!

Myself and my family meet up to eat here, I sat down while my wife ordered when my food came out the meat was just warm and the cheese not really melted. My wife was the same and my daughter said her food tasted bad . I kept noticing the people behind the counter whispering, this made us feel very unwelcome but I’m guessing because it was getting close to closing and we were taking our time, then a boy with purple hair was very rude and disrespectful by working around us and acting like he needed to push us out… I can only be polite for so long when people are rude, and I tried to keep a cool head! It was 10 til 7 when the door was locked by an employee and people were still coming to the door and leaving. I hope the person that owns this business reads this because your employees are running off your customers!!

Food was mediocre at best. Very bland and basic to be honest and they offer salads with no dressing and all it is is a sub without a roll over a bed of shredded lettuce! Also meat quality is that of a steak-um not real chicken or steak at all!

Apparently a large sandwich just promises the larger bread…. the part in the middle not so much…. I usually eat there but wanted to get home and ask for it to go….. never had an issue here…. normally I enjoy the experience but I would highly recommend dining in

The regular cheesesteak and California chicken sandwiches were both really good. First time to take my kids there and they said it was “so delicious!”

I got the Chicken Philly. It was one of the most bland sandwiches ever. The bread was the best part. The staff is less than helpful. Oh, and the Fries were OK.
