Mediocre food. Terrible service. Our large group of 10 convened at Charlie’s for Sunday Brunch. We were told that we could get separate checks (by couples). My wife had carnitas tacos. Very plain and lacking spicing of any kind. I had steak and eggs, ordered rare. The smallish steak came out medium and was very tough and flavorless. Thank goodness for A1.The fruit that came with it had clearly been sitting in the cooler for at least one night.The worst was yet to come. We waited close to 30 minutes for the check only to be informed that the server could not split the checks, leaving it to us to attempt the splitting. We discovered we were overcharged for one entree and charged (differing amounts) for extra plates. There was nothing on the menu or offered by our server noting this charge. The server returned with a new check, but this time with a 19% tip added. We asked for the manager. The server took the check back and returned after about 15 minutes. We again asked for the manager. The server returned with the check, and we again recalculated, giving our best guess with the splits. We spent well over an hour waiting for checks and figuring out the unannounced charges. No manager ever showed up. There are too many excellent restaurants with beautiful views in Sonoma County for this. Never again….

The view was great, the service was great and we loved the food. We started with the pork taco appetizer. He got the bacon club salad, I got the patty melt….just fantastic…all of it. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

The patio area is beautiful and relaxing, but I asked for lemons and some were moldy and rotten. As far as service the waitress was ok, not super attentive. Alos waited a very ling time for our dishes which one was there clams with garlic bread and the tri-tip sandwich. The clams were extremely salty and the sandwich was ok. Overall it was ok. The view is great, but the food does not meet to there award winning status.

Total of 22.5% built in gratuity (19% automatic for a group of 6 and 3.5% for using more than 1 credit card?) Is not reasonable and completely unexpected. The food and service were top notch but the automatic fees are unreasonable on an almost $400 bill.

Friendly hostess and server. Turkey Club sandwich was very good. Prices a little high for my taste. I asked if there was an option for salad instead of fries. Wasn’t told there would be $2 extra charge until the bill arrived. The salad was just some green leafs and shredded carrots – not that great. Beautiful peaceful scenery to relax during a break from work. So I guess that makes up for the $20 sandwich.

Monday evening Dinner. This place is located right in back of Worldmark in Windsor, next to the Golf course. Plenty of parking. The servers were prompt and courteous. Reasonable Prices for everything on the menu. Seating outside looks over the Golf Course. The Food was Delicious. I had the Chicken and Shrimp with Pasta instead on rice.. I remembered to ask for extra cream sauce.

I was very disappointed with the Easter buffet that was offered at Charlie’s. All if the food was cold and the stations were very picked over. We tried approaching the manager to voice our concerns and she was very unwilling to hear any of the concerns we had. She kept repeating that “everyone else like it”. I won’t be coming back to dine again based upon the lack of customer service and the manager’s attitude.

It was a buffet class reunion buffet dinner and our food was cold. Looks good in picture but chicken was dry, cold and so was pasta. The only good thing to eat was the salad. Should have taken just that.
