Our menu is half Chicago-style sandwiches and half authentic Greek food. The co-owner and head cook is from Greece, then spent 40 years in the Chicago restaurant business with his family. We are a small, clean, friendly joint, with short wait times. Everything is good!

I loved the gyro, it was tasty. I liked the atmosphere with details everywhere. And I did love that it was super clean. As a European I loved to see the floor being brushed and moped right when a table was done. Quite authentic .

After traveling through the area for a few days and having not-so-great food at restaurants, I left Chicago Greek feeling very pleased. Service was excellent. The Souvlaki tasted good, the portion of rice was very small but there was lots of bread and salad with it so that’s fine. Tzatziki tasted good though didn’t have much of the garlic kick I’m used to.

My son wanted a burger and this place popped up as one of the best. We had to try it. My son loved his burger. I had the gyro plate. Good food… great service. I wish the tahziki sauce had more flavor but not a bad place.

The food was so good that I didn’t get a picture until later…. This is a down- home restaurant. It has excellent service. We wanted to split the soulvaki and they brought it out on two separate plates and gave us two separate salads. The chicken was perfectly seasoned. My kids plot a hamburger and it was delicious with great toppings. They were super kind and even had a Halloween bowl with candy for kids. Lots of locals picking up food to go

This is a gyro restaurant with any kind of Greek food you would want . Well…to be real ,it is a fast food restaurant. Apparently the owner is from Chicago, kind of fun anyway. I don’t do in depth reviews, I just let you know if they’re good or not and I say yea. Chicago Greek is very good. go and visit this vendor.

I’m convinced that this is the best place to eat in Mesquite. They have the best burger it’s the best family restaurant they have the best international theme restaurant the best waitress the best customer service owners immigrated from Greece to Chicago in 1964 after growing up in his family restaurant business, he came to Mesquite in 2008 the owners met when they came to Mesquite in 2016 Lora grew up in Chicago suburb with Laura’s enthusiasm. Laura and Tassos decided to put together a menu with the two authentic native cuisine Chicago and Greek. The business has thrived since March 2017 under their daily management and presence. They are super friendly, very hands-on and down to earth. They actually care and take the time to get to know you. Come try it!
