It’s like being in Italy on the Mediterranean. You sit there looking over Hwy 101 at the ocean, sipping your chianti and enjoying a bruschetta. We got there when they opened at noon, and there were trays of freshly made pasta and dough for bread and pizzas. The cooks were tearing down beef primal and prepping for the dinner hour. While we ate, the musical entertainment arrived to start setting up. Great little place, limited parking, great ambiance and view, full bar, lots of wines, and really great fresh Italian food.

Omg…If you like Italian food you will love Cicciotti’s! You may be tempted, but Don’t get full off the delicious bread and Italian salsa. This is one of our very favorite places to eat in San Diego for the last 8 years. The hand make the huge pasta noodles, pappardelle. Amazing food and the service is always great. It seems like the servers enjoy working here! They have a full bar and live music many nights. Rich and delicious right by the water!

Was just looking for some Italian food, but boy did I find it! From the soft, slices of bread, to the pasta, everything tasted fresh and authentic. The bar are was pretty busy here on a Tuesday night, but there was plenty of room for dining. The place has an outdoor patio, but no one was sitting outside. I was unexpectedly pleased and surprised by this little treasure and I’ll definitely be back.

Great service, lovely location. generous portions. We got the calamari & zucchini fritti app, tagliatelle bolognese, and pollo al marsala, and all were delicious. We definitely want to try more of their seafood next time. They have their own parking behind the restaurant and their online menu has photos of the food so you know what you’re getting.

My wife and I go on Friday nights given the live music. We have brought many friends with us on various occasions. The service is consistently mediocre, at best; food is fine, but nothing to get excited about; prices are on the high side given their menu. Friday nights tend to be crowded, so try and make a reservation. But that doesn’t guarantee a table, as we found out. However, the entertainment is very good and does create a lively atmosphere. If you’re not super hungry, the bar is your best bet (if there’s a seat). It is fairly noisy, so I would not recommend for a first date.

Excellent service, great view. My wife had the Filet Mignon and it was amazing. I had the Margherita Pizza and it was good. I’ve had better but would still order it again. This was our first time and we would definitely go back.
