With hearty Italian classics made from scratch, the best martinis in town, and plenty of warm, supper club hospitality, we’re keeping the flair of the Forties alive here at Club Lucky. Once a hardware store, a dance hall, and a Prohibition-era speakeasy, our iconic Bucktown watering hole has had quite the unique history, and now we’re adding to it by inviting you and your family to join us around the table for a delicious meal made with plenty of love. Afterwards, feel free to migrate over to our cocktail lounge for a Negroni, Manhattan, martini, or another refreshing aperitif. Whether you visit for a drink or a dish, you’ll never forget your time here.

Loved this place! Great atmosphere and our waiter was always attentive. We ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and the Chicken Orgenato and enjoyed both.

Chicago Italian at its finest. If you’re lucky enough to get a booth you almost feel taken back in time. If you sit at the bar you will be regaled of stories new and old from their wide range of clientele. The pasta is almost sacrilegious in the way it feels like a bite of Heaven. The meatballs are something I would give a limb for. Top tier business right here.

What a cool vibe. Love the old school, yet refreshed feel! It’s very crowded, tables are close together, but it’s a cool vibe. Service was okay, food was great!!!! Loved the 8 finger cavatelli, Club Lucky salad, chicken Marsala and desserts!!!

First time dining here and unfortunately felt there was much to be desired… I did love the old school/neighborhood feel and the espresso martini! However, I was not impressed with the apps and entrees. That being said, the dining room was packed and hundreds of positive reviews online so would love to try again!

A throwback, but for all the right reasons, not nostalgia. The portions are “normal” and the menu is not for degustation only, though there’s plenty available to try and share.

Had some duds but I’d definitely come back. Salad was a little clunky and the tomatoes weren’t super ripe. Had shrimp scampi and tortellini. Totally scratched the American Italian pasta itch. Skip the limoncello and chocolate cake.

Club Lucky is a hidden gem. The moment you walk in the door you feel at home. The atmosphere is comfortable and exciting. It’s a mix between an old school dinner in the front and a regular restaurant in the back. The walk up bar is decorated with beautiful bottles and lighting. You can eat and/or drink at the walk up bar. The drinks are amazing and the food is unforgettable. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Eating family style is your best bet with large groups. Highly recommend the Veal Parmesan. They cook everything to perfection and the staff are amazing. Really nice and super friendly with everyone. The place is a must go if you are in Chicago. Highly recommended!
