I woke up Sunday morning craving breakfast and decided to find somewhere new I’d never been! My friend lives in the College Park area so I decided to find somewhere near his house and try to get an omelet! I came across College Park cafe and decided to go in and have myself a little brunch. When I walked in I felt very unwelcomed as no one had even said hello to me! When I felt that, i immediately decided to get my food to go. I sat at the bar where an older woman just sat there and stared at me as I asked for a menu. While I proceeded to look over the menu, she quite LITERALLY stood there and watched me wander through it. And not in a she may need help way… more in a… When is she gonna order and get out of here way! In fact about 4 minutes after she gave me the menu as she stood there… She asked are you ready??..I said no i’m not ready yet… and she proceeded to just stand there! I placed an order for an omelet with sausage mozzarella and onions and asked if they could add green peppers. While I waited for my food I noticed that the young and fun waiters behind the bar did not acknowledge my presence whatsoever! In fact I sat there waiting for my food extremely thirsty and had to ask for a glass of water because no drink was ever offered to me. I got my food and was VERY ready to go as I did not feel very welcome. When I got to my friend’s house…I opened my Box and noticed that they put green onions instead of green peppers! However this was not that big of a deal to me as I love green onions! The food was delicious I’m not gonna lie! I devoured the omelet the toast and although I wanted hash browns they said they were out and gave me their home fries instead..but they were delicious and perfectly seasoned! I would definitely go back as the food was very good and very close to my friend’s house. But I will not go alone and maybe not at that particular time again. I will give it 6/10

Had a great lunch today at CPC. Everything was cooked perfectly. Generous portion size. Nice staff and welcoming environment. Couldn’t ask for anything else. Good local gem that’s been around forever while not sacrificing quality.

This place was an experience. I came here just for the espresso. That did not disappoint, the flavor was great, could have been hotter, but I also like my coffee or espresso to burn my lips, nevertheless, I got my fix.

I ordered from here and had it delivered. Completely overpriced $4 for a 4oz orange juice. Eggs were busted black beans and rice was all beans and no rice with 1 piece of toast. As much as they charge they could at least give you a little more than they do. Very disappointed in this place.

The food was great. Fantastic, even though we asked for steak medium rare and we recieved it well done, the taste was still great. Our waitress was lovely, but we had to ask for napkins and for utensils. The basics, which is when she informed us that she had no knives. Other than the spotty service, food was great, it was quick. Cute, quirky diner vibes. Prices a bit on the high side. Just as a heads up.

Terrible service. It’s so hard trying to place an order because they never “hear you”. I ordered food the other day and it was disgusting I found a fly and hair in my food, I called the restaurant and supposedly the manager would call me…they never called me, it’s not about the money because when that happened I wasn’t looking for a refund it’s about the services i had in the restaurant.

Love this local gem! The wait staff is great! I always go in to see Thomas and the girls on the weekend. Highly recommend the grilled chicken entree or sandwich. Cornbeef hash and biscuits and gravy are also apart of my favorites. Great place to visit if in College Park and even better place to be apart of if you live in the community!
