I enjoyed the food. The service was good also. The building could use some work, but I just considered it to be sort of rustic. I’m very glad I didn’t need to do number 2. It would have been very hard to do since the toilet was almost touching the wall! They need to take out that wall and make the restroom a little bigger so it would be a little more user-friendly. Other than that, I thought the food was awesome.

We are not regulars but despite the food looking delicious, it was only okay – the ham was great, but the corn was cold and the steak sandwich was unfortunately not to our liking. This place is popular and well liked by many locals and so we will try again at some point in the future! The place is in need of a refresh/repaint and the entrance needs to be reworked but otherwise a decent place to eat.

We had lunch today and it was good, but not great. The good: my wife’s grilled chicken fingers (and amazing honey mustard) were phenomenal and the smoked corn on the COB was also a standout. The bad: my butter beans and squash casserole were certainly good, but were bland = needed some salt/pepper somewhere in the cooking process. I had the pork ribs – two were good, but the rest were thin and dry/tough like they had been cut well ahead of time and sat under a lamp. We would come back for the chicken fingers and corn, but not for the ribs.

I ordered the turkey platter which was supposed to be served chilled, but was warm. The mashed potatoes had no seasoning and the side salad was just iceberg lettuce with a sliver or red cabbage and a sliver of carrot. Country’s used to be the best in the area but this is the third time I have gotten subpar food, so I would not recommend them.

The Food was Great, I got a Vegetable Plate and it was like eating at my Mom’s or at my Grandmother’s house ! That should say a lot about my and my husband’s experience other than he had BBQ Pork to go with his Vegetables! It’s worth going and trying them out! Try their Deserts (Buttermilk Pie)

I normally eat at country’s bbq in Columbus when my wife wants to eat there. I had a taste for bbq and it’s on my pallet recycling route. So I tried this one in Auburn instead of Jim n Nick’s my last experience there wasn’t the best no good service.

When we walked in the 2 girls wrapping utensils had to fuss for a few minutes about who should come wait on us, they decided neither of them should, Allen?Leon? Was supposed to be up front, so instead of seating us, they had to go find him. We got seated and 1 of them finally came over, took our order. Cole slaw was sour and was brown like stewed cabbage, she didn’t say sorry, she said..well what else do you want? Beef and pork were both dry, potato salad and baked beans were good. Had to go ask someone for some more tea. We went out of our way to go to Countrys, and used to love to eat there, but today will be my last visit to this one. It has really gone down hill. It’s sad to see what used to be a really good place to eat be so disappointing.

Great meat and vegetables lunch if they have what you want on the menu! The place needs a lot of maintenance. Be careful going to the bathrooms, the floor feels like it could fall in. Update! We went back another day for lunch at 11:00 and they were out of almost everything on the menu. Not sure what was going on that day,but we left without eating
