Consistently an ok place to eat. It’s nice that the menu offers a lot of choices. Friendly staff. They definitely have very fresh and sizeable salads. Generally unimpressed with roast beef dinner. Advertised as fork tender, but my fork must have been dull. Gravy was gelatinous. Ordered vegetable soup as a side. Barely warm although vegetables were good. Not much flavor in the broth. Way too cold in the restaurant. You could hang meat in there like a refrigerator.

Usually, I love eating here, but the past few times have been awful. I ordered a pancake breakfast with apple topping, and I came to pick up the meal. It came out with maybe 4 slices of apple, so I go back in and wait in line again, and the lady at the cash register was very sweet and nice, she called the lady who brings the food from the kitchen to the Togo area to get me some more of the apple topping, and whipped cream. The Togo lady came out very rudely, basically saying they put a whole container of apples on my plate. The picture with 4 slices is what my food looked like when it was brought out and the other was how it should’ve looked. I hate being like this, but when I order food from somewhere I expect what I order, I was very nice up until that point. Overall the food was great, this lady was just not.

Every other dine-in restaurant nearby had a 45+ minute wait to be seated. There was no wait to be seated here, even though the parking lot looked crowded. Service, food, etc were all excellent. And we were seated served and out the door in under an hour. And I love the new QR code method of payment. Just scanned and paid from my phone.

They were out of the food dishes and waited to tell us when the other food finally arrived. We had to wait for 20 mins. Food that was prepared took and hour or more to get to us. There was very little ice in our glasses. We asked for more she brought about 2 1/2 glasses full for the table of 6. We couldn’t get refills. It was horrible. At least 5 other tables were having the same issues. I do not recommend this Cracker Barrel. If I could give it a zero I would.

Food was wonderful but the food was slow, we began to think they’d lost our order. We were visiting with friends so we had plenty of time to catch up while we were waiting. A server came by and told us it would be out in a min and it was probably at least another 15 min before it actually did. It wasn’t a huge deal but we all thought the order was lost and she noticed that we still didn’t have food and did something. She stepped up, I don’t believe she wasn’t even ours but she was good at her job and observant. Big shout out to her! Way to go!

My Sister & I had the Chicken & Dumplings dinner. She had a sweet potato & broccoli with hers and I had baby carrots & broccoli with mine. We both had lots of their delicious dumplings with just a few pieces of chicken which was fine by me because I really enjoy their strip dumplings more than the meat.
