Be prepared to wait! We waited over an hour to even get a table and over 30 minutes more once we were seated to get our appetizer. The food is good, but the place is small for the amount of customers.

Living here in South Mississippi, we are blessed with a plethora of Catfish Restaurants/House’s/Shacks/Camps, etc., which means many of us are lucky enough to eat at many of these Catfish eateries, and in turn we develop a very personal expectation of a Catfish Meal. That said, Cuevas just didn’t get anywhere near our expectations. Service was good, and though the food wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t really good either. The highlight of the meal was the Fried Dill Pickles, & it was the fact that they were not overly salty, and the biggest let down was the Hushpuppies, they seemed like they were possibly made in advance and then reheated right at service, because they were really packy. The slaw was edible, but nothing special & the whole Fish was good, but could have been cooked a little longer. All in All, there just wasn’t anything about our meal that would make Cuevas one of the 1st places I’d consider if I was craving Catfish.

Outstanding! The coleslaw and hush puppies were brought out with out ordering or asking, it’s a courtesy. The cat fish is fresh daily. The fried oysters are amazing and everything is brought out in record time with all the fixings. Prices are wonderful.

Not impressed at all. The stuffed crabs on the seafood platter were the size of a shrimp. A French fry was longer than 2 crabs together. Two different couples ordered the all you can eat fish platter. They brought only one platter to be shared by both couples. Not sanitary eating off the same platter. Look at the pictures, see for yourself.

We had all you can eat catfish. It was served with cold slaw, hushpuppies and fries. The fish was just a touch to Chrispy to me but everything else was real good. I don’t know the cost because my portion was paid for but I believe it was around $18.00 per person.

I ordered the seafood combo platter which had a nice variety of fried catfish, stuffed crabs, fried shrimp, and some little crab balls. All the food was excellent and served in a timely manner and take into consideration that I went on their busiest night of the entire year! Plenty of waitresses and a friendly family environment.
