A wonderful beer and burger type place. The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect for such a place. The staff is fantastic, being both incredibly friendly (which was shown to be true for everyone in the building) as well as effective at their job. The food is the standard array of traditional pub food, though it is exceptionally well done. Though having only tried the fish and chips thus far, I can imagine the rest of the menu being equally excellent.

Picked this place at random and probably one of the best places we’ve been to in a long time—we’re not from the area and joked (but not really joking) that we definitely would make the 2 hour drive just for this place. We went 3 times in 2 days. The prices are amazing and so is the quality of the food and drinks. The tuna was delicious, the burger was phenomenal, their brunch is great. Tabitha is AMAZING. All the staff is awesome. Cannot recommend more. We’ll definitely be back

This place is a very nice area to visit in RVA. Unfortunately one of the waitresses was inconsiderably rude. She did not come over to us for another round of drinks until over an hour later. We also waited over an hour for water, even after asking for water twice (the second time having to get up and walk over to her). It was a pretty hot day, so at that point I had to ask the bartender inside for waters. She was dismissive from the start, and we tried giving her the benefit of the doubt due to the heavy crowd, but this was plain ridiculous. Fortunately another waitress picked up her shift and we had great service from her.

Curbside reminds me of a micro version of the Cheers bar. You always seem to bump into some frequent patrons, and everyone always seems like they’re having a good time. The food is really solid, the service can be a little slow, and I do wish they had a few more beers on tap. But for a solid neighborhood bar, you really can’t go wrong.
