Co-workers raved about this place. So I thought I’d give them a shot and order a cheeseburger for lunch. I ordered online for pick upn which only allowed a max of 4 toppings, each of which cost a nominal amount and didn’t actually include the cheese though it was a cheeseburger I had ordered…cheese was .75, lettuce was .25…you get the drift. Ended up costing $8.40. It was ready in exactly the time they said, so kudos on that side of things. Yet, I have to say this was a little pricey for what I actually ended up with (see my pic). I got a whopping 2 pieces of romaine lettuce from the looks, that were not simply wilted but had gross brown/slimey ends. I got all of 2 pickle slices as well. I did get a side pickle spear, but not a snappy dill spear as one would expect, it was also rather limp and wilty. The burger itself tasted…well it was just ok, nothing special and kind of dry. Overall, I am super disappointed. I expected so much better! I love a good burger. This wasn’t it by a long shot. Maybe it’s better if you go and eat there in person?? I don’t know and likely won’t as I really don’t think I’ll be going back.

A friend raved about Danny’s so I decided to give take out a shot. I got a New Yorker for just under $16 which was on comically small slices of bread. That being said the corned beef was delicious, nicely trimmed & generously portioned considering the tiny bread size. Not what I consider a traditional rye bread but soft, tasty & enjoyable enough. Unfortunately there was barely any cole slaw which made for a disappointingly dry & too bland sandwich. The matzo ball soup did get an excellent review from my friend although I did not taste it. Am I likely to return? I would theoretically try the food again (with an extra side of cole slaw) but pobably not at that price point.

I’m not sure what these other reviews are saying. This is the best downtown lunch spot in town. I’ve ordered many different items from this menu and each one has been a hit. I love the BLT, which happens to be a all time favorite of mine, it was so full of bacon that I could barely get it in my mouth. My salads have always been fresh and crispy, some of the dressings are the best I’ve ever had. Those people must have been at another place altogether. Someone must have a grudge for some reason. It’s funny how all of a sudden the reviews just kinda follow the same dialog. I could not read all of that cramp and not defend my favorite spot for lunch. The service is always super friendly and I have never had a aweful dine in experience or an online one EVER!!!!

When I first had food at Danny’s several years ago I was amazed. They had the best corned beef sandwich in Columbus. I remembered that place because of that sandwich. Fast forward to now, I decided to make a run and order their famous “jawbreaker” corned beef sandwich. It’s known for its large size and massive amounts of corned beef. I ordered it to go. When I got home and removed the sandwich from the bag I was disappointed. The corned beef was not warm, and the rye bread looked like table scraps they were so tiny. Definitely not like the sandwich I used to order back In the day. What happened to the quality ???

Went to Jimmy Johns for lunch to find out they were no longer in business, so went next door to this establishment, I see a Ruben on menu and think sweet!!! Order just the sandwich for takeout!!! $15.22 is your total!!! I pause and think this must be a nice big hearty good sandwich to be charging that at a hole in the wall deli!! I’ll give it a chance!!! Unfortunately I was let down greatly!!! By far the weakest, smallest, rueben I have ever eaten!!! Arby’s serves a bigger, juicer more flavorful Rueben for $8

This is like a hole in a wall. I’ve never heard of this place, but my friend loves the Reubens here. It was my first. My friend parked in the hotel lot aonce that area is hard to find park. It was about 12pm. It didn’t seem really busy at that time. However, more people were starting to come. It’s like a diner. It’s been around for a while. I ordered the falafel pita wrap with garlic fries. I should have gotten regular fries. It wasn’t bad, but they got soggy. The bathrooms were out and around. It wasn’t directly inside. I did have to go exploring to find it. The service was great and quick. The staff was amazing. The food came out hot. It was ok to me. The customers looked like they worked nearby. If you’re looking for some lunch such as a salad, soup, wraps, sandwiches, chips, and fries, then give this place a try, especially if you like diners.

Coworker got a fish sandwich that was cold. Everything I wanted they were out of. Another coworker wanted her drink taken off because they leave the tea sitting out without a cover on it where anyone could have done anything to it let alone dust flying in there all day and the employee argued with her the whole time. I will never be coming back here and we’ll tell everyone about my experience. There’s also no reason to charge a service charge without disclosing that beforehand.

I ordered a jumbo corned beef sandwich on rye bread through door dash I even called the deli twice after I ordered through door dash to make sure they prepared my order correctly and they still messed it up. When I received my order my sandwich was on soggy white bread so I called them and they said to me that maybe they were out of rye bread I said are you out now she said no. I’m done, I’m never ever ever going back there again no accountability no professionalism just flat out rude.
