This place is AMAZING!! The food is absolutely delicious, the coffee and mimosas are on point and the staff is wonderfully attentive!!! Came here for brunch with my sisters for Sunday Funday and will definitely be coming back!!! We tried the chilaquiles, the enchiladas, jibarito, the pancakes, the corn empanadas and the dates…EVERYTHING was fresh and the flavors were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! Highly highly recommend you pay this cute place a visit!!!

Wow! This gem of an intimate South American influenced eatery is an understated gift to the WestTown / East Ukrainian Village neighborhood! (Note, the name ‘Del Rooster’ conjures up visions of a poultry centric menu.. not at all the case). We started the evening with delicious and fun cocktails that were flavorful and tasty! Ask the server for the special (‘for now’ off the menu flavorful coffee based martini with hints of cinnamon and is taquilla based -but not taquilla strong flavored) drink that (after we all tried) ROCKED THE NIGHT!

This was a fantastic surprise. Went with friends so I got to try about 6 different dishes and every. single. one. was delicious! Great flavors in the short rib, pork, pallea and pasta dish and the cocktails were great. Do yourself a favor and don’t skip the cornbread.

Yolanda was our server, she is very informative and kind with great service. The food is amazing, some of the best french fries I’ve had & the manager Ricardo took great care of my group & is very personable. We had the Banana Cream desert to go & it was absolutely phenomenal.The atmosphere is enjoyable with great music playing. Would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

OMG OMG OMG JUST GO. I️ stumbled on this Gem while searching for Best Latin Restaurants. My husband and I️ had THE MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE! It was not what we thought it would be IT WAS SOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE! RIcardo started us off with a Mango Rico and El Rooster Loco. THEY WERE AHHHHMAZING!!!! Then we ordered Coconut shrimp, stuffed dates without the bacon, Corn Empanadas and Enchiladas with egg sunny side up with a side of scrambled with cheese eggs. AND LASTLY GET THE CORNBREAD. GET THE CORNBREAD. I️ WON’T SAY HOW MANY ORDERS WE ATE, JUST KNOW IT WAS WORTH IT!!!!! EVERYTHING WAS SOOOO TASTY. IT WAS A WAKE UP FOR OUT TASTE BUDS. THE FOOD MAKES YOU FEEL GLAD TO BE ALIVE!

Happened upon Dell’ Rooster after the wait was too long at another place in the neighborhood. Happy accident! Our server, Ricardo, was sweet and genuine and clearly cared that we had a good time. The food popped too! Croquettes and crispy pork torta were standouts. Easy five stars.

Absolutely wonderful experience dining at Dell’ Rooster! Starting with the amazing Ricardo who was excellent in his service, meticulously explaining the dishes, selling us on why he recommended the dishes that he did (the recs were super helpful it being our first time there). The food arrived in a timely manner and it was so good that we wiped it clean from our plates. No morsel left behind. We ordered the chicken and waffles (amazing!), steak a caballo (steak and eggs), and the croquettes, for brunch. All were excellent. The chefs even came out to chat with us and tell us more about the restaurant and ingredients. Both of them are wonderful people and talented at their craft. I am very glad this restaurant exists and will surely be back soon for more! Keep up the great work!
