On a recent trip to San Francisco from Florida I yelped this place and read the reviews and decided to try it. Ordered a cheese burger and fries. With a side of onion rings. Everything was going smooth until I bit into my third onion ring there was a hard plastic material inside the fried part. I don’t know if it was the plastic the onion came in or maybe not enough layers were peeled off correctly. Anyway the cheeseburger was good the bun is buttery and toasted. The soda machine was down so no fountain drinks but they offered bottle drinks which is fine but I love me a fountain drink with the burger.

Order the spaghetti and meatballs through doordash for my lunch at work. The pasta was so overcooked that it was like having grainy paste in my mouth. The meatballs were so rubbery. After 2 bites of pasta and 1 meatball, the whole meal went into the trash. DD won’t do more than a $5 refund because of some new policy they have. But I literally had to go my whole 8 hr shift on pretty much just that. Thankfully, I ordered cheesesticks, and those were just basic, nothing special.

I’ve been coming to this little restaurant for a few years now and everything on their menu is delicious, but the Spaghetti and meatballs are my favorite. I’ve recently moved away but this place is always on my list when I’m back visiting. The staff are always amazing whether eating in or taking away. 10/10 highly recommend.
