Our hamburger ($15) was bigger than the bun (yum) and the shrimp tacos ($18) were the best I’ve ever eaten. The music was a little loud but we enjoyed the view of the beach through the window. We had a great server who was friendly, communicated details well, and gave us a soda refill in a to-go cup before we even asked. Will look forward to eating here again!

First time eating here. Very mixed review. The atmosphere was fantastic. We ate outside on the deck overlooking the lake. We could see all the way to Chicago. There is inside seating as well, fair warning the music is loud inside. First frustration was trying to get a cup of hot water for my mother in law. We were told the machine was broken and we couldn’t get one. After asking if they could get the hot water a different way we finally got one – they also said no charge for the hot water – but we were charged 2.49 for it. We started off our meal with 2 orders of truffle fries which were excellent. My husband tried to order the steak sandwich but was told that was the lunch side of the menu and that it ended at 4 (would be helpful if the menu indicated that). My mother in law had questions about a dish and the server couldn’t answer them (she apparently hadn’t worked there long and wasn’t knowledgeable about some of the dishes). We all ended up getting the sweet corn pasta – my husband and mother in law added chicken to their pasta. The dish was unique and full of flavor. I loved it. My husband really enjoyed the chicken as well, but my mother in law said her chicken had lots of bones in it. We had a very difficult time getting drink refills. Our server seemed overwhelmed and annoyed. We did finally get them from another server who is the one who told us that our server hadn’t worked there long. We opted not to get the one dessert that they had. In addition to the 2 soft drinks and overpriced hot water, I got the gate free colada which was small but delicious. Out total bill was just over 100 for 3 people before tip.

I am really surprised by the high rating for the food . I will start with the positives . The concepts of the restaurant is awesome . Beautiful views and good seating. The staff is super nice and out waitress was awesome . Now the cons … it echos so loud in there it’s really chaotic . There was some kids screaming it was driving everyone nuts . The food was below average . Lobster roll was flavorless and had hardly any lobster on it . Chips n salsa was good , pretzels and cheese was ok but the you can tell they are microwaved. Burger looked good but I didn’t taste it. The BLT was horrible , oily bread and it was ready beacon so it was really crumbly and didn’t taste like bacon . But again the service was good .

Loved everything about this place. From the location to the inside atmosphere. Wish we places like this in our state parks. Tried the walleye tacos while the husband had the lobster roll. Both were good. We also had the seafood crostini and that was amazing. I don’t even like tomatoes but everything tied together made me like it. Their special rum punch was good too.

Food and drinks are always 100% fantastic. Servers are very polite and helpful if you have any questions. The view is beautiful when you go late for dinner to watch the sunset. 10/10 recommend for date night/anniversaries.

Breathtaking, panoramic views of Lake Michigan. The restaurant is located inside Dunes Indiana State Park so be advised it was $12 as a non-resident to enter the park. There was a patio on the main level in addition to inside seating but there was also a roof top bar that served a different menu.

Thoroughly impressed with the quality of food, including carnitas, barbacoa, salsa, and even chips. The elote dip was amazing. Drinks met expectations.

This place has decent food with a few vegetarian options like the pasta with pineapple skewers. It is on the pricier side but the outdoor patio does have great views of the lake.

What a fantastic place to spend an evening! The food was delicious, the drinks were so nice, and you really can’t beat the view. The dunes are already a little slice of heaven in this area, and the pavilion is the cherry on top.

Great to have this place right on the beach. Good beer selection and the service was great. My wife really liked the grain bowl with salmon. I got the walleye tacos and thought they were ok.
