Literally a hole in the wall you might miss if you’re not paying attention. They seem to be low on staff but the food is worth the wait. I ordered the seczhuan chicken and it came with white rice and tons of veggies. The sauce was very mildly spicy but overall delicious for $9. Service was efficient and prices are very fair. Not busy at all for a Sunday lunch hour.

This may be the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life!!! Absolutely flavorless & plain. I tried it twice… same experience. Very disappointing. You also have to order it through a homemade “box” through some plexiglass behind a locked door. (There is no inside)

Is it possible to give a rating of zero? Guess not. If you like fake frozen chinese in a bag that gets heated up in a dirty wok then you are going to absolutely love this place. Been living in shockoe bottom for damn near 10 years and this place hasn’t changed a bit. When you order here, you always get what you deserve.

Wonderful food and wonderful service. There was a slight order mix-up and the lovely woman behind the register served me a soda while I waited and enjoyed conversation with her son! Blessed to have a sweet local spot to stop into. Great portion size and all fresh!

The food was edible enough. After seeing all the bad reviews, I decided to order anyway. It was the closet Chinese restaurant to me and I wasn’t feeling well. I ordered the sesame chicken with shrimp fried rice because I thought, who is gonna mess that up. First, the customer service was trash; the lady handed my food through a little window and threw my change on the counter, all the bills separate from each other, I had to pick them up 1 by 1 and straighten them out. The chicken was dry that my jaw hurt chewing and there was very little sauce. It was a bit bland too, only flavor was that yellow sauce thing. No sauce on the broccoli either. The shrimp fried rice was the only decent thing. They had good portions too.
