We got dinner from Eat Rice tonight. Very excited to try a new place. They were extremely busy and the place smelled great. The portions were a good size and that is important in today’s economy. However, the food was not great. It was extremely bland. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

The space was very clean, which I really appreciate. The staff was pleasant and quick. My food was overcooked though. My General Tso was really crunchy. The egg roll was absolutely delicious. This was my first time ordering food from here, so perhaps this was an off day. I had some leftovers for the next day. (I almost didn’t keep them) But I’m glad I did, warmed it up and tasted good the next day.

We got two orders of the bourbon chicken. The rice was really good but the chicken was dry and chewy almost unedible. I called and expressed my concerns with them and was told that is how they make their bourbon chicken. So needless to say we won’t ever go back

Horrible. Absolutely tasteless, horrible food. I asked them between the orange chicken and honey chicken = which did they recommend? They recommended the honey chicken. I also asked for fried rice no pork. I’ve never had fried rice with 0 vegetables in it. Not an onion, pea, nothing. just soggy yellow rice. And the chicken was like chicken nuggets soaked in corn syrup. Gross, gross, gross. The food was so tasteless, I wondered if I had covid but I don’t. My husband got beef and broccoli which was better, but also got a serving of the weird “fried rice”. The fries for my kid were grease logged. Total waste of money. I really don’t know how they got so many good reviews.
