It was okay. The flavor wasn’t there. I was looking for that distinct Colombian flavor and the vibe wasn’t so Medellin to me. The service was good, attentive and friendly. But it was just a 4/5.

During my recent visit to El paisa I had a mixed experience. The restaurant’s ambiance was lovely, and the food was delicious. However, I was disappointed by the rude behavior of the servers. Improvements in customer service would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.

The soup was not fresh. The empanadas were alright. They had no pan de bono. When we got there the lights were not on. The chicharróns were not good.

I enjoy eating at this restaurant… the food is delicious with good sized portions at a good price. The service is pretty good and the waiters are attentive to the customers’ needs. I always enjoy my meals here. Definitely recommend for family dinners.

Beautiful outdoor patio but food is okay, kind of bland. We were a party of 8 and all of the food did not come out at the same time. I ordered a beef sancocho, soup, and my husband ordered a bandeja; both dishes needed more flavor. There is a 3% charge added to your bill if paying with a credit card. Not worth the 45 minute car ride.
