Sunday July 16, 2023 my daughter, son-in-law and their 2 little girls ate dinner at El Paso on Amb Caff, the one by Sushi Masa. She ordered an extra burrito to go, went to eat it Monday and there was something in it that could have had potentially deadly effects had she swallowed it. I’m just shocked. Will never set foot in one of their restaurants ever again.

When we first got there, a large group left, and there was a mess everywhere. The food was good. The server was great. However, there is new management, and a lot of things have changed regarding drinks and substitution of certain items on the plates. Just wasn’t expecting so many issues with our order. Had great live music and fun time with the family.

Husband ordered tamale dinner. Menu does not state nor did waiter explain it had red sauce much less crushed whole tomatoes on top of tamales. We told waiter and he said he would discuss with manager. He then comes back and asks why he didn’t like it so husband explained he does NOT like tomatoes crushed, whole or sauce. Why do you put red sauce on tamales anyway? So waiter advised that they are under new management and in order to make a go of things, the manager told him the cost of my husband’s plate would come out of his salary! Of course, we said what?? He’s a young man waiter. Who wants to deny him his pay? Wasn’t his fault. Just give some more tamales and put no sauce. No, wouldn’t do it and still charged us for the uneaten plate. We have gone to El Paso many, many times. After this experience, we won’t be going anymore! Treating your customers as such, I don’t see a future for this location at all. You just lost some good paying customers!!

I eat here on occasions, and you need to go early ,because it gets very busy after 6pm. Service was a little slow last time I dined there, but it was extremely busy and the waitress looked to be fairly new at waiting tables. Had to wait to get drink refills , but overall food was good .

Reason for 2 stars is because we ordered 2 blue Margaritas not knowing we were getting a regular margarita with blue coloring and costing us $17 per medium drink. Totally ridiculous for those prices for a Margarita. Won’t be buying any liquor drinks anymore, don’t feel like getting ripped off anymore. Also will be sharing my feelings and comments to all my friends on FB
