We were on our way to Hidalgo from Laredo, and discovered this place accidentally. They have a nice and clean setup. We tried their authentic Mexican breakfast tacos and have to say they were really good. Service was quick and all their recommendations were spot on. Definitely worth the price and we would love to come back !!

The food here is incredible. We got a mixed parrillada and both the chicken and the fajitas were incredible the were soft snd had so much flavor. They also have a little stand for salsas etc. For having such good food I have never understood why it’s always so empty. For sure one of my favorite places to go!

Wow this place was just amazing! The meat (fajita) was so flavorful! We had to go check out a job site and didn’t know where to grab a quick bite before heading back home….Checked out the google reviews and they had a pretty darn high rating, so we decided to partake. No disappointment at all. Its giving Taco P vibes, but they ain’t got nothing on El Taco Tote!!!! If you are ever in the area I defiantly recommend this place! I’m a sides person and the rice & beans were the bomb as well!

I ordered the papa with fajita extra cheese a fajita, 2 piratas, 1 quesadilla, Plato de tacos de fajita, and panchos. The food from the place is amazing. The fajita was super tender and delicious. Best fast food Taco place is south laredo. First time I can say that it is better than Taco Palenque.

Wow what happened to this place use to be so good now its trash meat under seasoned beans taste like can beans guacamole what guacamole rice sucks salsas where the only saving point but that’s it saying alot I mean in the plate I ate that’s the only thing that tasted good save your money go to taco 0alenque that’s 100 times better

Love how your acknowledged when you enter the restaurant, the place is very clean besides it being a new location. The lady’s there are very friendly always with a smile on their face. Would very much recommend coming with family and friends. I stand by what i said but they did go downhill for a while there was times where the salsa station needed refilling some tables needed to be clean. Its not a good sight coming in and some tables have the customers trash. They ladys are friendly but sometimes the customers don’t need to hear the problems their going through AND THE BAD LANGUAGE. it needs to stop i understand that being around the same people for so long you get comfortable, but its a job like any other. Other than that its ok. I see a manager is back Mr. Benavides is back hopefully things get better.
