My family and I come here every year while we vacation at Siesta Key (usually twice in two weeks!). This restaurant has never disappointed us. I’m confused about some of the negative reviews. This is a very small, family run restaurant — sometimes you might have to wait a bit longer for your food to be made and served. It’s worth the wait! This year we ordered ceviche, grilled corvina, grilled tuna & tacu tacu, and Peruvian paella. Everything came out perfect. The owner/cook’s nephew served us and was very helpful and polite. They are always helpful and knowledgeable about my and my dad’s gluten allergy. We will be back next summer!

My family knew the owner I’ve come here as a child. We were in town and my aunt was reminiscing and wanted to go back there very excited. But once we got there I know the restaurant was small however there were empty tables they have a specific table for big parties there were 9 of us. I get that. But the logic that was told when we asked if they could push tables together because there were 3 empty tables we were told no because those tables were for 2 people and I was like so your turning away a party of 9 that is here for a maybe party of 2? As a restaurant manager myself that’s just illogical. Super disappointed. I won’t be back.

Amazing food. Friendly and helpful service. Price was very fair for amount and quality of food. Highly recommend for something new but also it was amazing comfort food!

Great authentic food! Prices are great, large quantity, great quality, extremely friendly owners, very clean as well! We had the grill beef heart called Anticuchos, the Half Fish Ceviche, and the Papa Rellena which is mashed potatoes filled with ground beef, olives and onions. This place is a hidden gem!!!

This place sucked It’s super over priced and we waited 2 hours for a chewy steak.

The food was absolutely amazing, the grilled corvina was some of the best grilled fish I’ve had. The calamari was also great. Service was a bit slow, but not enough to take down a star. Nice staff.

Definition of a hole in the wall. The service was so warm and kind and the food was excellent. The Chicha Morada is the best I’ve ever had, It’s the first time I’ve ever had it fresh. You can really taste the difference from fresh homemade to bottled.

Very tasty all the way around! I had the Lomo Saltado (Grilled Beef with onions, tomatoes, rice and crispy fries- Yah!) and my husband had the grilled chicken whixh he said was delicious. The passion fruit juice was also so good!!. Lunch menu is very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!

The food was amazing, every bite was delightful. I am in love with this hole in the wall restaurant, it’s pricey but it’s worth every penny. I highly recommend this place!

The ceviche was fresh, the chicken perfectly cooked and the salad had the best dressing EVER. I need to sweet talk the recipe out of him.
