Writing my second updated review after visiting today. Started with the mini flautas again which was delicious. This time we ordered camarones a la vera and pacific salmon. Shrimp in the camarones a la vera was fresh and chile serrano was seasoned just right. Roll it up in the complimentary tortillas and everything pairs beautifully.

This place was so good that I wish I could give them 6 stars. I grew up in Mexican neighborhoods eating Mex food and this is some of the best I’ve had. Prices seemed a little steep at first but the plates are pretty big. I have the steak with enchiladas, guac, plantains and salad. Everything was fresh and prepared excellently. I wish I could buy bottles of their salsa and enchilada sauce. They are byob so stop by Gene’s on the way there for some wine.

What a darling, cozy restaurant with amazing service and food. This was our first visit and Erica was super sweet and attentive and made solid suggestions on the menu. We loved the guacamole and their veggie enchiladas were the best enchiladas I’ve ever had. The chicken mole was also delicious and it was a nice touch that Erica brought out samples of the different mole first to make sure my husband was happy with his dish. We will definitely be back and will enjoy the outdoor dining next time (even though the interior is so warm and inviting with the exposed brick and plantings).

This will be our new go to for a nice dinner. The staff is amazing! The restaurant is cozy and inviting. The food was the show stopper! Absolutely hands down delicious!!!! We all sampled each others dish. They were all equally amazing. The mole was one of the best I’ve ever had. BYOB – thank you for an amazing evening. I ordered the shrimp and I loved that the shell was removed. They also hosted a larger party with no problem. All of our food came at the same time and was hot. We will be back!

Incredible environment, delicious food, and extraordinary service. I went with my two sisters and we all loved it. We shared the ceviche (super fresh and yummy). We got tacos, flautas, horchata drinks and for dessert we shared the lava chocolate cake. This restaurant would also make for a great romantic date. A lot of lights and cozy feeling. You won’t regret it. I recommend reservation and definitely order the ceviche as an appetizer and lava cake for dessert if available. Street parking was available when we went.

This is a cozy restaurant with great food and service. The food was cooked to perfection. We shared the queso fundido appetizer, and had a Chile poblano and an order to tacos Al pastor. They have vegan options as well. The food was served fast, the service was attentive, and I can’t wait to return.
