Came here for a late breakfast early lunch. We had the Ruben sandwich with fries and a root beer. The Ruben sandwich was excellent, the fries seasoned and delicious. The root beer was fairly standard and a tad too sweet but good. We sat at the bar to save time waiting for a table and service was great. The atmosphere is welcoming and busy.

This is a five star experience with a price to match it. But it is a diner. Get the fries, get like two orders, they are amazing. The corn beef was piled pretty high, the soup was home made, but for a family of four we spent 100 dollars not including tip. And don’t show up Sunday at 11. It is a Mad House.

I was visiting Chicago to see my daughter play soccer at Soldier field and stumbled upon this place in the morning. Best diner I’ve been to in a long time! I sat at the bar area since it was just me and the Service was outstanding. Food was on point and came out pretty quick. The atmosphere was awesome to me with the neon lights, plenty to look at and blues music playing pretty loud, which I actually thought added to the atmosphere. Two thumbs up! I would definitely go here again.

This was a spur-of-the-moment stop for us! We loved it! I’ve had this diner saved for a few years but never got the chance to go. We finally went and we are so happy we did. The food was so flavorful. The breakfast food and burgers are amazing. The homemade root beer is a must. As well as any of their shakes or ice cream! The staff was wonderful. Everything was fast. The atmosphere was great as well. They gave us a QR code as well for the restaurant’s playlist when we commented that we enjoyed it. Definitely coming back as soon as possible!!!

Yes yes yes. If you take a diner, something stereotypical New York pastrami (think Katz’s Delicatessen, Meg Ryan When Harry met Sally etc), throw in some Texas, a dash of Louisiana, and finish it off with some Chicago South Side sass – that’s Eleven City Diner. Vibe: awesome. Coffee: bottomless. Food: awesome. Service: fast, friendly & genuine.

Our experience here could not have been any better in any way except if they had decaf espresso (no comments!) ;). My wife had the corned beef hash and I had the lox and latke (first time ever for me). Of course I also ordered a single piece of French toast with berries & cream. Definitely at the top of our list to visit again on a future trip.

Excellent service! The wait staff was patient, personable, and attentive. My cousin and I came in less than an hour before closing; however, we never felt rushed, and our waiter even let us sit and talk even as they were cleaning up and closing. The food was also super fresh, nicely flavored, and surprisingly light (yet still filling). Prices were a bit higher compared to other diners, but the trade-off is quality service, nice ambiance, and tasty food.
