Finally a worthy 5 stars. Love this spot. Location is great. One of the few places you can eat outside in the neighborhood and not have to eat next to cars on the street. Quality fresh ingredients and organic options available. Dishes were all flavorful and our 2 year old ate the plates clean (we had to get 2nds of each dish). Service was good and considerate. I have not had such a good vegan meal since getting to Chicago. In fact, this is probably one of my favorite over all restaurants in Chicago.

We went for the vegan Valentine’s Day Prix Fixe five course dinner. Wow! It was incredible! The food was innovative, not the same thing I’m accustomed to at upscale vegan. Everything was surprising, flavorful, fun, and gorgeous!!!! I will definitely be back for future events and to try their other menus. So great!!!!

Wow this is a wonderful place! Beautiful patio. We were so lucky because it was chilly outside and no one wanted to sit out there. All the diners were inside. We said, “we can do it!” And we had the entire outside to ourselves! Great experience. Super nice people. And fantastic food! We hope to come back again and again.

Fancy plants kitchen is a must visit spot for vegans and vegetarians (or anyone looking for vegan food) in the Chicagoland area! The atmosphere is great and the food is fantastic! The happy hour prices were incredibly reasonable and include their cheese plate that made entirely in-house (highly recommended). The portions are on the small side so be ready for that, but overall this is a great spot!

What can I say, the team at Fancy Plants and Kevin knock it out of the park! Creative dishes, delicious combinations, and the best ingredients. We love Fancy Plants so much we decided to host our wedding rehearsal dinner here and the team did an amazing job. Our non vegan guests were blown away by the food and the ambiance with the doors open was just right.
