Fat Tommy’s is a family-owned restaurant serving the Mt. Greenwood community since 2000. Our menu is quick-casual (not fast) and perfect for anybody looking for a delicious meal. Some of our specialties include hotdogs, hand-packed hamburgers, BBQ, hand-cut fries, and a salad with a funny name – The Innagadadavida – which we are told is craveable. We are also kid friendly featuring a variety of hand-scooped ice cream options and Sprechter root beer straight from the keg and an enclosed patio for hanging out or creating floor murals (underneath our wall mural) with sidewalk chalk. Our beer cooler features a unique collection of beverages. Stop by between 11 am – 2pm or from 4pm – 8pm.

We used Fat Tommy’s to rent their hot dog and ice cream cart for our son’s birthday party, and it was such a fun time! Our guests really thought the idea was unique and enjoyed being able to just grab food and treats. I corresponded with Dan to set everything up and he really does seem like a nice guy. We can definitely be friends lol. A different guy came out to service the carts (I forget his name), but he was very friendly and hard working. And of course, the hot dogs and ice cream tasted great! We definitely recommend!

Nice spot that I happened to stumble on while in the area! Went with the Ditka Dog and there was no disappointment. Tasty polish with the bacon. Everything tasted fresh and all ingredients worked well together. The employee/owner was really nice.

Best chilli dog and fries ever customer service was the best. I did a take out my food was fresh and hot chilli dogs are one of my favorite foods. I will be visiting here again.
